The atmosphere changes and all I can feel is tension. I almost feel bad for controlling Max. She should be able to make her own choices. Then again its better to have the upper hand. Thats what the Queen says and so far it seems to be true.

The main concern right now is getting Max back to safety. I don't think her puny little werewolf friend will even make it to the kingdom. However if he does then he's just asking for death because he doesn't stand a chance against me. It's going to be hilarious when he realizes we've swapped her memories. She thinks I'm him.

Hopefully when he gets through that will click in her head and she'll think he's the bad guy. Based on how things went earlier I would assume thats going to happen and the anticipation is thrilling.

We run across a bunch of bridges over to the nurses office. Our friend Dolores is the head of the Medical department. She's a water fairy and she's hella smart. Thankfully she made it out okay with us on our mission of getting Max back. Now she's back to doing what she loves.

I don't like to spend loads of time in the Nurses office because sick people stay there. However  it's the safest place in the kingdom. When I said Dolores was smart I meant she has one of the highest IQs in the world.

Thats why this is the safest place, because she made it so the wooden ramp can come apart and come together with just a little magic. Right now it's a simple spiralled ramp all the way up one of the biggest Oak trees.

Pulling Maxine along with me and Tiffany right behind us, we sprint up the ramp. Tiffanys eyes are white meaning she's using her magic to deconstruct the ramp behind us. They're only white to match her fairy type which is a sky fairy, it happens with everyone.

Finally we reach the top and we ram through the doors into the room. The cotton wheelie beds lined up against the wall and the the crystal chandler hanging from the ceiling. I will say Dolores fixed this place right up.

Dolores walks out of her office which is up the stairs at the end of the room. She has a white doctors coat on which she worked really hard to earn. Her curly brown hair is tied up into a high ponytail and her hazel eyes swim with worry. She skips steps coming down the stairs and rips Max's grip out of mine. She starts frantically checking her out. Probably looking for scratches or scares from where her wings broke free. Max has a terrified look on her face. She doesn't remember Dolores which makes sense. She'd already been kidnapped by the time we found Dolores outside our borders.

"Dolores you're scaring her, give her a moment to breath." Tiffany says. The corner of her mouth is lifted so I'm assuming she's still happy about Doloreses recovery. Dolores struggles to stop herself from being curious but she does eventually.

She looks over at me and mouths 'did it work?' and by this I'm assuming she means the medicine. She created it after all even if she wasn't asked nicely. She didn't really have a choice.  I nod and catch a glimpse of guilt cross her face. She'll understand that she created something amazing soon enough.

"Hi Max, I'm Dolores! It's so nice to finally meet you!" she exclaims turning the guilt into a mask of happiness. Max trys to say something back but nothing comes out. I forgot the queen told her to shut up.

"Max you can talk." I say. She moves her jaw around before replying "H-Hi Dolores." She's probably stuttering since her mouth was closed while running.

Doloreses face lights up as she says "Oh! Do you need some water? I'll be right back!" and then she's off down the hall and takes the lift up. The lift is so much better than using the stairs. You just have to stand on a wooden platform that has a rope attached to it. Pull the other end of the rope  and it will pull you upwards.

Max turns around with a petrified look on her face. A laugh slips out of my mouth. Her eyes flick to mine with a confused look. She's an open book, especially with those emerald eyes.

"You'll get used to her, she's just a ball of joy. Especially when she gets to do her specialty which is helping and taking care of people."  I say. Realization hits her face like a wrecking ball and she nods her head with understanding. She wonders off probably to admire some stuff.

"Don't go too far!" I yell after her and she nods her head as she continues to explore.

I whirl around over to face Tiffany as she says "I've already locked the door and the slab of wood is nailed in from our side. I will go make sure all the doors are locked. We can't let her know somethings wrong or she'll worry too much."  She's panicking again.

"Tiff, it's going to be fine. We're not going to lose her again. Besides we don't know she'll worry a lot, it's just what the queen says will happen."

"I know I know..." there's wavering in her voice now but then she perks up. "Wait are you questioning the queen!?" she exclaims shocked.

"What? No!"

"Sounds like you are..." She mutters.

"I'm not okay? Chill."

She rolls her eyes and waves a dismissive hand as she walks away to bolt the windows shut. I turn my attention over to were Max was- Wait- WHERE DID SHE GO?! I look around the room frantically and notice a twitching foot over behind one of the beds on the other side of the hall. I run over  to get a full look.

I Look down and Max is there with blood dripping out of her mouth and her body is spasming! Not good! What did she do to herself?! Thats when I notice a green bottle thats broken by her hand. I follow the trail of green ooze over to her chest. What the hell did she drink?! I yell as loud as I can for help because I am no doctor.

"DOLORES!" I shout as she comes out of the lift. She looks over to us, drops the glass of water as it shatters and she runs over.

"WHAT IS THIS!?" I shout at her holding up  half of the bottle. I am not losing Max again! Her eyes grow twice their normal size. Thats not a good sign. I shout her name again but Its cut short as I feel the spasming stop.

I look over to Max's motionless body. One last final stream of blood trickles out and down the  corner of her mouth. Her head rolls to the side as her eyes close.
