Sebastian's Perceptive

The six of us crunched through the snow as we headed back to the castle. Garreth and Poppy had taken a lead far ahead of us. Both attempted to have what I assumed to be a quiet argument away from the rest of us. The two lovebirds had differing plans for the evening and I wasn't eager to get in the middle of it.

"Truth or dare?" Adelaide hiccupped as she tugged heavily on my arms.

I should have paid more attention to how much she drank, but I had been busy distracting myself with alcohol. The rush of the drinks kept us warm on the long dark walk back.

"We are done with that stupid game," I dismissed, "Let's just force on getting you back in one piece for now," I suggested holding her up with my arm.

"Truth or dare?" Adelaide mocked as she pulled onto my sleeve more.

I sighed before giving in, "If you want to ask me something, just ask me. But don't go asking questions that you might not want the answer to." I warned remembering her shocking questions at the table.

Whether or not she was working with Poppy toward the same goal was still unclear, but I had more trust in Adelaide.

Her eyes and lips pouted disapprovingly in my response before finally asking, "Well who else have you kissed?"

I looked back up towards the path in front of us, still too far of a walk back to the castle to avoid the topic forever. Ominis' head tilted over his shoulder as if he had overheard us before saying something to Eva as they began walking faster.

I slowed my pace allowing Adelaide and I to drift farther back.

"You aren't going to let this go until I tell you?" I questioned looking down at Adelaide's golden eyes. S

he perked up at the idea of knowing and nodded happily with a childish grin.

I sighed pulling her closely, "The first two were nothing!" I emphasized again, "Little shy pecks on the lips between kids!"

"Who?" Adelaide, "They still count you know!"

"Fine," I gave in, "First-year, I gave a small peak on the lips to Cressida Blume. She was my first kiss, I had a crush on her for most of the first year then finally worked up the confidence to make a move. After I kissed her, she told me that she was scared of Slytherins and started crying! It was rather embarrassing, is that what you want to hear?"

Adelaide laughed happily at my embarrassment, "Then who?" She chuckled.

"Well after that embarrassment. I was nervous that all the girls were afraid of Slytherins and would cry again. So I only talked to anyone from my own house for most of my second year. After one of the Quidditch matches there was a game of spin the bottle. Imelda Reyes spanned the bottle and it landed on me. It was a simple peek on the lips, but enough for me to have a crush on her after. I followed her around like a lost puppy. She wanted nothing to do with me though." I confessed, "But she's a good friend now so that's alright. I can't say the same for Blume, I think she still might be scared of Slytherins."
