Could Never Be Heaven by Brand New

Ominis' Perceptive
After wandering around the rest of the party, I finally gave up the search and spent the rest of the night drinking with Garreth. It was more enjoyable than I expected although I still missed Anne.
I'd hoped to get to dance with her at one more party before graduation yet the chance never came. That night she wasn't in her room or anywhere in our common room when I returned either. I was just alone.
I hate the nights that I found myself alone.
"Where are Sebastian and Amelia?" Anne begged the next morning barging into my room. Clearly already saw the empty bed that her brother never bothered to return to.
"Good morning to you too, sweetheart." I teased.
"I'm sorry, love," She apologized, kissing the top of my head as I finished getting ready for the day, "I didn't mean to be rude. But have you seen either of them?"
"I haven't seen either of them since last night's party. You know, the party that you never showed up for," I taunted, "Sebastian probably snuck into Ravenclaw afterward."
"No, Imelda just came back from Ravenclaw. They weren't there," She said a little more frantically, "I already checked the Undercroft and the Grand Hall this morning. I was hoping maybe they both came here instead. Do you have any idea where else could they have gone?"
"Dear, they probably just snuck off somewhere to be alone. They do this all the time." I groaned.
Frankly thinking about the two of them at that moment was rather low on my priorities. It was a thought I rather block out.
"Ominis, I need to find Amelia right now. Where could they have gone?" Anne begged.
"What's going on?" I asked finally, "You disappeared last night. Is everything alright?"
Anne went silent at the question as she continued to pace with anxiousness. She didn't get flustered easily, but when she did she couldn't hide it well.
"I can't find Ophelia," She finally muttered in a broken voice, "She's been missing since yesterday. I searched the whole castle. And I just have a bad feeling."
Suddenly her anxiety spread through the room like it was toxic. Ophelia was known to wander around the castle and the grounds, but she always came back. She was a loyal cat. Ever since part of Anne's soul bonded to her, the feline was always nearby.
I hadn't heard that level of anxiety in Anne's voice since she had been sick. Broken and afraid, yet she was doing her best to hide it.
I started walking before I realized that I hadn't said anything. Anne followed quickly behind as we headed out into the castle in search of whoever we found first.
I hoped we find Ophelia first and put the issue to rest before it grew anymore. Until Sebastian rounded the corner to the dorm entrance.
"Where have you been? Where's Amelia?" Anne yelled quickly after her brother.
"I just walked her back to her dorm. Why? Is everything okay?" Sebastian answered hesitatingly.
Anne kept her march forward past him, "I can't find Ophelia. I just need to talk to Amelia now. How do we get into Ravenclaw?"
