I'm feeling extra cheesy this Valentine's Day so please enjoy this cute little one-off chapter!

This idea ended up getting cut from Aftermath and I thought I'd end up reworking it for Shadow of a Grave, but it never fit in right there either.  I'd hate to let a cute little fluff piece go to waste so consider it my gift to y'all as a thank you for the over 5k views!

Sometime During the Seventh Year

Sebastian's Perceptive

The common room was as busy as I'd ever seen it. It seemed like everyone had crowded into the Slytherin dungeons after our win in celebration. There were only a handful of games left in the season and being in our final year, any win could be the last celebration, no one wanted to miss out.

It was a bittersweet celebration for sure. The decision to join the team again was much easier with Anne being able to play again. Every game was much more fun as a pair.

Besides not having the pressure of playing as the seeker anymore was even better. There were no extra drills or training like the year before. And Anne had been a much better seeker, as everyone kept reminding me. The celebration that night wouldn't have been possible if she hadn't caught the snitch for us.

This year I got to just enjoy playing with everyone else and take it easy. Mostly it meant that I had more time to spend with Amelia.

But as I shuffled through the familiar faces gathering in our common room I couldn't find her. I knew that she hadn't left yet there were too many people to see her in the busy room. As I asked around I mainly just got shrugs and confused people who couldn't hear me well over the music.

"Where's Amelia?" Anne suddenly asked me, pulling on my jersey to get my attention in the crowded room. I could barely even hear her shouting in the corner.

"I'm not sure," I admitted. "I haven't seen her since we got back. Where's Ominis?"

It was equally odd to not see my blind friend clinging to Anne's side. Since she returned to school it felt like they were attached at the hip.

"He's off somewhere, I don't know either," Anne scoffed. "If you see him tell him I've been looking for him!"

"Will do," I promised.

Before I could step away, Anne pulled on my sleeve once more and warned, "Don't do anything stupid tonight. Please!"

After getting no answers from my sister I decided to keep wandering around the common room. But honestly, I just wanted to find Amelia wherever she had been hiding.

I was feeling needy.

Maybe it was the drinks from celebrating or the fact that I hadn't seen her much the past few days. Between all of her appointments in the Ministry and my quidditch practices, it felt like it had been too long since we'd spent time with each other. Even if I saw her every day it had been too long since we got time to just be with one another.

All I wanted to do was find Amelia and drag her away from anyone else. Only the two of us together so I could be all hers.

As I made my way around I checked the usual faces. First I found Natti since they tend to spend a lot of time together at parties, but no Amelia with her. Then I saw Poppy dancing by the fireplace, again, without Amelia.
