Trigger warning * Do not read if sensitive to such topics*

Meerab kept walking, not sure where she was going and unable to care. Everything hurt and her mind kept replaying it over and over again.

She was unable to accept that he had done it. Since they had gotten married Murtasim had treated her so gently, almost as if he had been afraid she would break after what had happened with her parents. And now he had shattered her completely.

' meri kya aukaat hai aur us agreement ki kya haisiyat hai, abhi batata hoon'

She hadn't really realised what was happening until he slammed her into the bed post and even then she hadn't thought that he really would do it.

Meerab stumbled and managed to hold on to a tree to balance herself. The tree trunk was rough and a cut came on her hands. Her hands , the very hands that had torn the contract.

Meerab stumbled as Murtasim dragged her to the drawer and pulled out the contract. Grabbing her hand, he made her hold it. His other hand holding her in a tight grip.

' Tum is ko abhi khud parho gi Meerab'

' Murtasim choro mujhay aur band Karo yay drama, bahir Marium ki Shaadi hai. We have to be there , sab pooch rahay hongay Kahan hai'

' Marium ki Shaadi ? Marium ki Shaadi ki buhat fikr hai tumhain? Aur jab marium Ghar say bhaag Rahi Thi tab Nahi socho Kay log kya kahain gain. Kitni badnaami hogi meri. Nahi tum kyun Socho gi tum to chahti hi yay ho.

His grip on her was becoming more painful and Meerab tried to twist away, accidentally tearing the contract as she tried to pull her hand away.

He pulled her towards the bed throwing her across it as he threw his coat on the floor .

His hand pulled on her hair forcing her to look at him, and she knew looking into his eyes that it was going to happen. It would not matter what she said or did it was too late now.

'Tum meri Qayamat seh Nahi Pao gi'

How right he has been, because to Meerab it felt like Qayamat. Her world had come crashing down around her . The one person who had stood by her side through everything, who had always taken her side even when her own parents had not , had now stopped caring

She barely felt the pain as his hand twisted in her hair and pulled her face up to him and his lips came crashing down.

Meerab had wondered what it would be like to finally kiss him. When the salon girl had put the Saharas in her hair she has wondered what it would be like to have him remove them, had thought that tonight maybe they would finally start an actual marriage.

She had never thought it would end like this , her earnings dug into her head as he forced her down on the bed. 'Murtasim please'

' Meray Nikkah main ho tum. I tried to give you time Meerab but haq hai yay mera and it's time you accept this marriage'

Meerab saw a coming bus and raised her hand to wave it down. She had to get off the road and Hyderabad before he found out.
