If Meerab had thought life would get easier after Haya left she was wrong. Maa Begum now blamed her for both her daughters leaving.

Meerab had taken to hiding in Marium's old room. Marium had a collection of books and since Murtasim had still not returned her phone she had started reading them. Maa Begum tended to avoid the area as it reminded her of Marium, who was still refusing to speak to her.

Meerab wasn't just avoiding Maa Begum she was also avoiding Murtasim, and he thankfully left her alone as long as she went back to their room at night.

*At dinner table*
'Zara ki tabiyat kafi kharab hai is liyay main Kuch din Kay liyay us Kay pass ja Rahi hoon', Maa Begum said as she looked disdainfully at the plate Meerab placed infront of her.

'Theek hai Maa, meri taraf say salam kahiyay ga Khala ko.'

'Haan lekin Murtasim tum Tou Islamabad ja rahay ho kal'

Meerab paused pouring out Murtasims water, he was leaving ? He had not mentioned that at all.

'Haan tou Maa ?'

'Tou ab isko Ghar par Akela Tou Nahi Chor saktay, pata Nahi wapis ain tou yay hi bhi ya nahi'

Meerab took a deep breath, she knew Maa Begun would never trust her again but it still hurt to hear.

'Ap fikr mat karain yay kahin nahin jai gi'

'Haya wapis arahi hai kal, is per nazar rakhnay'

Meerab's glass slipped out of her hand and went crashing down.

Maa Begum sighed deeply, pushed away her uneaten dinner and left.

Meerab did not care, there was no way she could be left alone with Haya.

Murtasim was busy tossing stuff into a suitcase when Meerab finally worked up the courage to talk to him.

'Main Haya Kay sath Nahi reh sakti, ap mujhay karachi Chor dain'

'No'

'Tou main yahan akeli reh loon gi, Haya ko mana kardain.'

'Us Ka Ghar hai yay, us ko koi mana Nahi Kar sakta'

'Mama , Baba ko yahan bula lain', Maa Begum had forbidden them from coming to the Havelli.

'Meerab bag Sahi say pack Kardo , I don't want to hear about this anymore.', he walked away.

Determined to change his mind, Meerab finished packing the bag and then went to make chai.

'Kya hua aj itna khayal?', Murtasim took his tea.

'Maria ko bhi sath Karachi lay Jaon gi, so she can report back to you.'

'Acha tou yay baat hai, itnay din say Tou mujhay avoid Kar rahi thi .' he put away the tea and pulled her onto the sofa next to him.

'Kya hua hai meri jaan?'

'you know we don't get along, don't leave me alone with her.', she begged.

He began to twist her hair around his fingers, 'aur main yay kyun karoon?.'

'Please Murtasim I'm begging you.'

'Tum Karachi Nahi ja Sakti, pata Chala phir Rohail Kay Ghar pohanch jao.', he laughed.

'Aisa Nahi hoga, mainay tumhari har baat Mani hai, Maa Begum ki bhi. You said if I behaved you would let me go out, Tou bus mujhay do din Karachi Chor do.'

'Challo abhi lay jata hoon, garden main', he got up pulling Meerab with him.

She clung to his arm desperately, 'Please Murtasim yay saza mat do mujhay, I'll do whatever you say, main Ghar Ka Sara Kaam karoon gi aur koi complain Nahi karoongi.'

'Maa 3-4 din main wapis ajain gi, Kuch Nahi hoga.'

' You know she will make my life hell if you leave her incharge. Meri Galti ki mujhay saza day rahay ho aur uski Galti Ka kya ?'

'Main Nahi rahoon gi yahan us Kay sath, I'll go to Karachi', Meerab said turning around and walking into the room.

A tight grip on her arm stopped her, 'Kya Bola tum nay Meerab? Nahi Raho gi? '

He slammed her into the bed post, ' ab bhi Nahi samajh ayi hai tumhari ? You are going to do as I say , jahan marzi ay rakhoon ga tumhay aur tum Raho gi samjhi.'

'SAMJHI',Meerab was crying too badly to reply which seemed to make him angrier.

He shook her causing her to fall on the floor at his feet. 'Meerab remember your limits.'

She stayed there crying as he went outside to smoke.

When he came back an hour later, he found her still huddled on the floor, tear tracks on her face.

'Meerab khari ho, you'll get sick sitting on the floor', he pulled her up.

She was shaking so much he had help her to the bed.

He turned off the lights and laid down to sleep.

'main Maa Begum Kay sath challi Jaon?', Meerab asked in a small voice.

On not hearing a reply she sat up and began to cry.

'itna dar Lagta hai Haya say ? Tum buhat bahudur himmat wali thi ?', she felt him sit up.

'why are you doing this ? I did whatever you said, ', she cried .

'Come here baby',Murtasim pulled her into his arms and softly stroked her back and she sobbed into his chest.

Slowly his hands drifted lower and came to rest at her waist. Shifting Meerab slightly he began to pull of her shalwar.

'Murtasim please?' , meerab said as he pushed her on to her back and pulled himself over her.

'Baby I am really not in the mood to think about Haya right now, ', he kissed her.

*The next morning*

Meerab stood watching as a servant grabbed Murtasims bag to take it downstairs.

'Will you miss me ?', he came to hug her.
' ab bhi naraz ho ?', he asked cradling her face. 'Acha challo bag pack karlo apna bhi.'

'Mujhay Karachi Chor rahain hain ap?', Meerab asked in surprise. Had he really agreed or was he playing with her. She could never tell now.

' No , you're coming to Islamabad with me', he smirked. ' it's going to be so fun just the two of us meri Jaan'.

'jaldi karo we have to leave in an hour', he said as he walked out.
