A/N Hi guys! Hope you all liked the first chapter, I'm really excited to be working on this for you all, sorry the last chapter was a little short, but don't worry! I'll try to make them longer. I want this to be a long fanfic so that's my goal. Anyways, thanks again, Peace out!

The next morning comes along, and I slowly wake up to my 6AM alarm. I quickly get out of bed. Looking around my room, nothing is too set up yet. Boxes are still unpacked and only a small fragment of my clothes are actually folded away in their drawers. I was going to have to finish this tonight, even if I didn't really want to.
This isn't my room back home though, this is work and I have to stay tidy.
I start fishing through my stuff, looking for my toiletries bag. After a minute of searching, I find it, grabbing it and slipping into my slippers.
Unfortunately, I'll have to leave my room and make my way to the communal bathroom. Fortunately, I'm also the only girl at base so the female bathroom might as well just be my own personal space.
A smile spreads across my face selfishly as I realize this. Making my way to the door, I prepare to leave my room and head for the bathroom.
I crack open my door in the barracks hall and peek my head out. Looking up and down the hallway, I notice nobody is out yet. I walk out of my room, shutting it quietly behind me, and quickly pacing down the hall to the bathroom. I don't really know why I feel the need to sneak around, but I do anyway. Maybe it's because I'm just too nervous to meet anyone new, or maybe because I'm not even ready for the day yet.
Or both. Yeah, it's probably both.
Finally seeing the girl's restroom, I almost run to it. Opening the door and stepping in, the automatic fluorescent lights flicker on, nearly blinding me. They're a lot brighter than the dim ones in the hallway. Maybe it's because these ones are rarely used.
I walk up to the sink, setting my toiletries bag on the counter, opening it and fishing out my hairbrush. I spend a minute brushing my morning hair until it's presentable, tying it up neatly. I put the hairbrush away and begin to brush my teeth. After a couple minutes I finish up, I go to the bathroom and look at my phone.
Only 6:15, I'm making pretty good time.
I decide to walk back to the sink and pull out a tube of mascara and apply it. No harm in looking a little more presentable than usual. It is my first work day on base after all.
I finish up in the bathroom and walk out, making my way back to my room to get dressed into my uniform.

It's 6:30 and I'm finally done, I step out of my room, locking the door behind me. I make my way down to the common area where yesterday Price had said he would meet me at 7. I grab a couple pieces of toast and some egg from the cafeteria and find a place to sit by the windows. I chow down and sip my water as I scroll mindlessly on my phone. I have a piece of toast in my hand and I take a small bite. As I do, suddenly the sound of faint laughter and chatting getting closer can be heard, and two men turn from around the corner and walk into the common area.
I swallow the bite of bread and look away, trying not to make eye contact with them.
My efforts of avoiding their gaze failed, and before I knew it, the two men start walking over to me.
"Aye, lass!" one of the men says cheerfully and loudly, his Scottish accent almost made me smile as I quickly look up at him "It's y/n right?" he continues, a big almost goofy smile on his face.
How can someone be so energetic at 6 in the morning? I smile as I sit up straight, no hiding now.
"Yeah, I'm y/n, and you two are..?" I ask as I look up at the two men who are now standing right in front of my table.
