7 AM:
"We have someone on the inside helping us to get you into the building and get you situated. Your name from this moment forward is Angelina Torres." Alejandro reminded me as he handed me a Mexican ID card with my picture and new fake name to seem more legit.
I hold the card in my hand and inspect it for a moment. Obviously is government made.
"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Price asks me, sounding rather anxious about the whole situation.
I look up from the ID card and turn my attention over to the captain. I give him a soft reassuring smile and nod. "Of course, Captain."
"Ok, then." He smiles back at me, content in my decision.
All of task 141 is piled into Alejandro's large well decorated office, everyone going over their roles. I have no idea how long it'll take for me to discover some good intel or find out who our targets really are, but everyone is involved in this and has their own parts to play for this whole thing to work.
"Ghost, while y/n is undercover you will be the main person on overwatch, rotating with Gaz when needed, as you two are the better snipers besides y/n. I need you both to listen in on her with an ear piece at all times so we know what's going on." Alejandro informs them.
"Solid copy." Ghost replies in his obnoxiously loud serious voice.
I speak up, "At...all times?" Oh god, that's gonna be embarrassing. I'll have to be mindful of what I do and say.
Price silently shakes his head to himself beside me while Soap and Gaz laugh like a couple of little boys.
Alejandro turns his attention from Ghost and looks over to me, "Yes, at all times. We can't afford to miss a single thing out there." he answers.
I sink slightly down into my seat and close my eyes, groaning out quietly, "Uhhhggg."
"You're the one who agreed to this, missy." Soap speaks up, in a teasing manner.
"I'm well aware." I mutter as I reopen my eyes.
Just like our last briefing, Captain Price and I are sitting down in the two chairs in front of Alejandro's desk, across from where he sat. Rudy stands tall behind Alejandro with his back straight and arms at his side, he looks like a model soldier who's trying to set an example. I notice this and straighten my back again, trying to seem more professional.
Soap and Gaz stand together side by side behind Captain Price and I, them being the closest to the office door. Ghost stands by himself to the left side of the room, his back leaning against the wall with his hands in his dark blue faded denim jean pockets.
"The captain and Soap will be on call at an underground safehouse just a few clicks away from the Villa that y/n will be stationed at. Best case scenario, we'll be able to catch these cabron's and you two will be there to do it. Worst case..." Alejandro continues to inform each of us on our roles but he trails off and pauses for a moment. His face slowly turns into a reassuring smile before starting to speak again. "Worst case, we'll have both of you to help get y/n out of there! But let's all work together and make sure that doesn't happen, yeah?"
"And what about you?" Ghost asks the colonel, managing to sound a bit rude in tone.
Alejandro's smile slightly fades as he looks over at Ghost with a more serious expression, but it just as quickly as his smile went, it came back. "I was just about to get to that, lieutenant!" Alejandro exclaims in a fake cheerful tone.
