A week and a half comes and goes fairly quickly. During this time my duties basically consisted of lots of strict training routines, plenty of cleaning around base, target practice, and paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork.

I find myself thinking back to the close combat evaluations. Mainly the Lieutenant's and I's spar. It left me feeling a bit confused about my feelings about him. I still don't like the jerk, but I can't help but find myself being oddly attracted to him.

The thought of being pinned down by him, in a nearly erotic fashion seems to find its way into my mind, even if I didn't want it to. I find it hard to be in the same room as him sometimes. My mind can't help but wonder every time I see him, especially looking into his dark eyes.

I was fortunate enough that these last few days I've been stuck with Captain Price in his office most hours helping him do his paperwork. It's like I'm some sort of secretary, but I really don't mind. It's nice to relax in the perfectly air conditioned room.

I sit in a chair adjacent to Captain Price's desk, doing some paperwork on a clipboard. We sit in silence before I stand up, setting the clip board onto my seat. "I'm going to make some tea, I'll be right back sir. Want some?" I ask as I walk towards the door.

Price looks up with a smile, he seems tired. "I'd love some, Violet." He plants his eyes back onto the papers in front of him. I leave the room and shut the door behind me. Making my way down to the kitchen, I notice for once it's actually quiet. I continue to make my way down the hallway. Soon entering the empty common area and into the kitchen. I grab the kettle and start heating some water. I sit down, looking at my phone, once again mindlessly scrolling.

--

My attention was grabbed once I hear the kettle whistling at me. Without skipping a beat, I push myself up back onto my feet and shove my phone into my back pocket. I then grab two cups, placing tea bags into both of them. I swiftly grab the kettle, carefully pouring the scolding hot water over the tea bags. There's enough water for a third cup. I set the kettle back onto the stove, in case Price wants a refill later. I grab a tray and place the two cups onto it. Picking the tray up, and making my way back to Price's office, I make sure to take my time. I don't wanna spill anything.

After about ten minutes of being absent from the office, I return. Holding the tray in one hand, and opening the door with the other. I instantly feel the cold air hit me again.

"Back." I chirp, making my way to his desk before setting the tray down. I grab his cup and set it down on a coaster near him. "Careful, it's still hot so I'd give it a minute." I pick my cup up and set it down on a coaster that I placed closest to my seat.

"Thank you." He simply says, still focusing on his papers.

"I accidentally poured too much water into the kettle, so if you want a second cup just let me know."

"Oh," Price looks up like he suddenly realized something, "actually, I have some forms from General Sheppard that I need Ghost to look over. Take these on over to him in his office, maybe fetch him the other cup as well." he finishes.

I stand there for a moment, "Oh, sure. I can do that." I didn't want to do that.

I place the tray under my arm as Price hands me a closed beige colored folder. "Be right back then." I mention, as I turn on my heels.

Suddenly I'm back out of the office, making my way back to the kitchen again. Now I really do feel like a secretary. It's not like I would actually say no to Price, but I don't really feel like spending more time with Ghost than I have to. Especially not alone with him in his office.
