A beam of sweat rolls down the side of my forehead, I wipe it off with the back of my hand. I plop down into a chair inside the gym, catching my breath. Running on a treadmill in this heat has me all the way fucked up. I fan myself off a bit with my hand, I sigh.
I stand back on my feet and walk over to the water fountain in the hallway. Pressing my right palm on the button, and my other gripping the side of the fountain, I bend over to take a sip.
Ah, it's so cold and refreshing.
Cupping my hands together, I take some water and splash it on my face, washing the sweat off of me. I repeat this a couple more times before I stand up straight, wiping my face down with my shirt. As I finish wiping my face, the radio on my hip goes off, it's Price.
"Price here, I'm going to need all of you in my office, now." the radio clicks off.
The radio beeps again, "Affirmative, Sir.", Ghosts line clicks off.
I press the button on my radio, "On my way sir." I confirm as I lift my finger from it.
I make my way down from the gym to the office.

Opening the office door, I notice I was the last one in. Gaz turns and smiles at me, not saying anything. Soap notices me next, but before he could greet me, Ghost's voice booms.
"What took you so long, Sergeant?" he demanded. I walk into the room, closing the door shut behind me. I walk up to Price's desk, and stand in between Ghost and Soap. I simply ignore Ghost, placing both hands on my hips standing straight. I look at Price.
"Apologies Captain, I was all the way in the gym when you rang." I explain cheerfully.
"All good, kid." he assures me as he flips open a folder. He looks up at all of us.
"Bad news guys. General Sheppard has just informed me that we have some weapons deals occuring in Russia between them and the Mexican Cartel." He explains. He stands up, flipping his computer monitor to face us as he shows us the report.
He shows us a map with multiple locations highlighted, different radiuses spread across lots of land.
"Unfortunately, we have absolutely no idea where exactly they're being held, where they're going, and who's supposed to receive them." he goes on.
"So you need us to gather intel." Ghost seems really straight to the point.
Price looks up at him, nodding. "Precisely. We have multiple estimated locations of operations. What I need all of you to do is infiltrate this location." He taps on the screen, it's a location somewhat close to Yakutsk, a snowy city in Russia.
Price traces his finger along the computer screen. "We believe they're using the Lena River to secretly smuggle the goods in. Overhead view shows what appears to be a base. I need you to go in there, and find out anything you can. We need to stop this deal before it happens. Is that clear?" He finishes, his voice stern.
Ghost and I speak at the exact same time, "Yes, sir." we both say in unison. I whip my head to him, flashing a glare. He side eyes me, looking down at me while keeping his head straight.
"You're dismissed. We depart tomorrow at 1800. Dress for the cold." Price concludes as he takes a seat back in his swivel chair. Gaz nods and walks towards the door, I follow behind. He opens the door for me, I smile at him before walking out.
"You wanna come practice at the gun range with me? Figured it'd be smart to get a little more training in before the big day tomorrow." Gaz asks as he walks behind me, soon standing next to me. Honestly, it does sound like a good idea, I should get some more practice rounds in before tomorrow. It'll be my first real mission on Task Force 141, I need to do my best.
