I didn't think this would be Sue's house it was much bigger than described. However I got off the truck knowing that no matter what, Jacob would be with me.

"Yeah, Sue said that she'll bring the food to Emily's and Sam's since their place is a little bigger." Billy explained.

I was right. This wasn't Sue's, but Sam's house. I felt a little intimidated, knowing that after passing Forks the land was Sam's turf. Here Jacob had no authority unless he faced off against Sam and took his place. What Sam said was law here.

We got to the door; they were expecting us since the door opened with one knock from Billy.

"Hey Billy, Paul. How are you guys?" A girl with scars asked. This must have been Emily according to the descriptions I've been given. She must have only seen Billy and Paul since she didn't call our names.

"Good evening Emily. I hope Sue called to explain our presence." Billy said.

"Yeah I got off the phone five minutes ago actually."

"I brought some company hope you don't mind."

"Oh Billy any friends of yours are friends of ours."

"Well more like family."

"Oh?"

Paul pushed Billy inside and then she looked at us for the first time. Of course Jacob was the first acknowledged.

"Jacob, it's you! It's actually you! Oh my goodness everyone's going to be so happy!" She hugged Jacob.

He only hugged her with one arm. I was pretty sure that was enough. His other hand had mine locked in his grip.

"Emily this is Renesmee." Jacob introduced me after she let go.

I looked at her scars imagining what her face looked like before. Once I figured it out I put that mask over her. It fit perfectly.

She looked at me too, very interested. Not the way Paul had, but like how Uncle Jasper looked at me. Hopefully by the end of the night she would look at me as if I'm a person and not some alien. Finally she spoke. "Renesmee ... I'm Emily, Sam's..." It was hard for her to speak. She still had not gotten used to her title.

"Wife." Jacob finished for her.

She blushed.

"It's okay with me if you blush. It seems like I'm the only one in my family." I smiled at her as I confessed.

She smiled back. "I guess it is worse to blush in front of vampires. Since they don't...I mean..." I could tell that she thought she offended me, but I let her know the opposite by smiling.

I was so proud of my mask over her face that I just couldn't wait 'till we got inside.

"Emily?" I stopped her as she almost opened the door. Jacob looked at me wondering if something was wrong.

"Yes?" She asked.

"I was just wondering if I could show you something."

"I don't mind. What is it?"

I touched Jake's face. He closed his eyes, and then showed him the mask I've made.

"It's perfect Nessie. Is that how you see her?" He asked me surprised and amazed.

I nodded.

"Emily, Renesmee would like to share with you a memory if you don't mind." Jacob explained to her.

She seemed both surprised and curious. "She has a gift doesn't she? How?"

"I'll explain if you let me." I smiled trying to be friendly.
