It seemed to me that the table grew or something. It was longer and chairs had been added. I had no time to ask since at that moment Mom, Dad, Uncle Emmett, and Aunt Rosalie walked in. I went to greet them giving them all four hugs. Dad and mom kissed my head while they hugged me.
"Now this is what I call a family dinner." Uncle Emmett's booming voice shook us all.

"Too bad were all not related." Aunt Rose commented. She knew she agreed with my uncle, she just liked to act like the villain.

"We will be Rose, and very soon." Dad said looking at me with his crooked grin.

"Renesmee you want to introduce your friend?" Mom asked me.

"Oh, that's Claire, Quil's girlfriend." I told her.

"She definitely grew up." Mom answered.

"I remember when I first told you Quil imprinted on her, you totally freaked out." Jacob was smiling.

"A lot of people freaked out, but look at us now we're together." Quil commented.

"Imprinting on a baby isn't so bad. I mean for the parents it's like a load off their backs." Leah stated.

"Try kidnapping." Mom snapped at her comment. "Losing your daughter before meeting her is pretty harsh don't you think?"

"I didn't kidnap her, I took care of Nessie while you were busy turning into a leech." Jacob explained. "Besides Sleepless Beauty over here, didn't give much time with her either."

"Look Fido, I would be a million times better mother than you." Aunt Rose defended.

"Alright you three settle down, this is supposed to be a family dinner not a family feud." Grandma Esme tried calming everyone down.

"Who else is missing?" Embry asked.

"Dr. Cullen, late as usual; seems like he still doesn't know that we're impatient when it comes to food." Seth commented and everyone chuckled.

"You should be happy that we're even feeding you." Aunt Rose commented to herself.

"Aunt Rose, please not tonight." I pleaded.

Aunt Rosalie rolled her eyes, but didn't say a word.

Grandma Esme set the food on the dinner table and scoped some of each dish into everyone's plate. It seemed funny how I would actually see my vampire family eat a real meal with us. Grandma motioned us to sit and knowing her I would guess that grandpa would come in any second.

Sure enough a car could be heard in the driveway. Grandma sped to the door and held it open so grandpa could come in. The next thing I saw was my grandparents hand in hand next to each other in the doorway.

"Good evening everyone. Sorry I'm late." Grandpa Carlisle apologized and took a seat.

"Now that we're all here, can we start eating? I'm starving." Seth asked in a whine.

"Seth you need to stop being too impatient." Leah scolded her brother.

"Yes, of course, enjoy your dinner." Grandpa answered.

You didn't have to say 'yes' twice the guys dug in and ate. Claire hesitated a little before putting a fork in her plate. She glanced at me.

I just smiled as I grabbed a ravioli with my fork and stuck it in my mouth. She imitated me and then fearlessly dug her fork into her food.

All the Cullens just stared at us for a moment then took bites out of their plate one at a time. I could tell by the look on their faces that they detested this idea. I smiled and kept eating. It was nice of them to try and pretend to enjoy a meal they couldn't taste.
