The boars were ready by noon. We ate then cleaned up the meadow. We gave everyone a piece of the second boar to eat on the way.
The manimals were excited about eating a cooked meat. "It has been a long time since we had cooked meat. Missy." Millar told Missy.
"Do not worry Grandma and Grandpa always makes sure we have food."
"Are we ready?" Paddy called.
"Yes."
"Lets go."
This time we did not stop until we were outside of New Orleans.
We setup a camp just outside of the city. We went into the city in pairs looking for the 'White Moon Shipping Company.'
William, Brian and Missy stayed with the rest of the manimals guarding the camp.
Paddy and I strolled through New Orleans looking for the office. We started down at the docks then worked our way out from there.
Our section of the city had the slaughter houses. The different smells were a bit to get used to but we walked slowly. We had past a few that had chickens, pigs and cows hanging outside its doors. Then we past one that had all its doors closed and had no windows. The next one had all its doors open with the animals hanging outside.
"We need to check that one." Paddy whispered to me. I agreed.
We walked over to one of the bathing houses. Paddy went into a privy room I followed. He flew out when I went in. I waited a few minutes then I opened the door again. He flew back in I waited outside for him.
He came out, took my arm and we walked back to our camp to find Franklin waiting there or I should say imprisoned there.
"I like your guards very friendly after they knew who I was." He looked nervously at the manimals.
"Of course Franklin they do not know who you are except for Missy, Brian and William."
"Yes I do apologise. I did come on a bit strong." Paddy turned to his guards. "William. Missy. Brian. Come here please."
"Yes Sir." They said when they stopped in front of him.
"What happened?" Paddy asked.
"Grandpa he came into our camp calling out everyone's name. He was becoming angry because no one was answering him. I came down to meet him and to tell him to be quiet."
"They all did an outstanding job, Paddy." Franklin said.
"We surrounded him until we knew who he was Uncle Paddy." Brian said.
"Good."
"Missy and William recognised him from the last gathering."
"Yes Missy remembered me. Thank The Gods. I thought I was done for. Your guards look hungry Paddy. Feed them." Franklin whispered the last line.
"Franklin you know better then to disturb one of our camps."
"Yes Paddy but it was the only place I felt safe."
"I understand."
The rest of the pairs started returning to the camp.
"How many are you?" Franklin asked.
"Enough to find the people capturing our people and bring them home."
"You know about Larry, Michaela and Barkley?"
"Yes."
"Then you have received my letter. Thank The Gods." Franklin exclaimed.
"What letter Franklin?" Paddy asked.
