We walked in. "I asked Kylie to come with me I hope you do not mind."
"Of course not, I know the two of you have done great work on your ball gowns." Councilwoman Cleo said.
We set to work on what kind of design she wanted. The Councilwoman was having a hard time deciding.
"Would pictures help Madam?" I asked.
"Yes it would."
The Councilwoman looked through all of Colleen's sketches. "Do you have any designs without a corset?"
"Yes I do. They are in my quarters. I will be right back." Colleen said.
The Councilwoman nodded.
Colleen was back moments later with her entire collection of sketches.
Councilwoman Cleo smiled. "Excellent."
She went through the sketches picking out the ones she liked. "Now these I like I never understood why women wish to torture themselves with corsets."
She had picked out some simple shirts, skirts and dresses with a few gowns.
"I noticed when we were in town. The women dressed simple nothing too fancy."
"Yes Madam." We said.
"But they still had corsets on." She shook her head. "All right now to find the right fabric for this shirt and skirt."
We made several shirts, skirts and dresses out of the fabric the Councilwoman bought. She was quite pleased with the results. "Now I will blend in with the townspeople." She told us.
"Yes Madam you will." Colleen agreed. I finished putting the buttons on her shirts. The Councilwoman put on one of her shirts and skirts to see how they looked. Councilman Klaus walked in. "Cleo you look wonderful."
She curtsied. "Thank you Klaus."
"I was coming in to see if you want to go into town again."
"Yes I do." She smiled. "Go and prepare Ladies."
We hurried to our quarters to change. We wore similiar clothing with no corsets. I was walking up the corrider when Anna stepped out of her quarters.
"You are not wearing a corset?" She smiled.
"No Councilwoman Cleo, Colleen and I designed some clothes for the Councilwoman without corsets." I told her.
"I will be right back."
I nodded and continued up the corridor. I was waiting in the main square for Colleen and Anna and our male escorts. Councilwoman Cleo was showing Councilman Klaus her new outfit.
"It looks wonderful Cleo. You did a great job."
"Colleen and Kylie did most of the work I just picked out what I liked and they made it."
"No Sir she helped more than that. The Councilwoman helped with the sewing, cutting and fitting."
Anna came hurrying into the square. "Councilwoman Cleo you look... Very comfortable."
"I do Anna?" She smiled.
"Yes Madam you do."
"Good that is exactly how I wanted it to look." Councilwoman Cleo smiled.
Colleen, Shaun, Paddy, Gen, Cory and Annabelle came to join us. We left the cave and headed towards town. Athos, Julian and Serina were already waiting outside for us.
We were in town by midday Councilwoman Cleo wanted to go to the market again. The women in the marketplace just stared at us. I kept checking to make sure we were properly protected from the sun.
