CHAPTER FOURTEEN

The next day she woke up early to cook breakfast. She decided to cook for him so that she can somehow pay for what he did. Until now, it is not clear to her why he spent such a large amount just for her. She thought about what plan he would make for her, she mean, they don't know each other very well. They only met four times, and last night was the fourth.

She heaved a deep sigh and tied her hair into a messy bun. She readied the ingredients for the fried rice to be cooked.

• White long grain rice
• small white onion
• Vegetables, peas and carrots
• eggs
• sesame oil
• soy sauce
• green onions

She preheat the skillet and turn the heat into medium high heat and poured the sesame oil into the bottom of the skillet and add the onion, after that, she fry the peas and carrots until it tender.

She slide the veggies to the side and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. She get the spatula and used it to scramble the egg and mix it with the veggies and then she add the rice. She pour the soy sauce on top and stir and fry the rice with veggies and mixed it until it warm through and combined. And the last but not the least she add the green onions hanggang sa natapos at naluto.

She immediately put it in a big bowl and covered it. She then fried the bacon and eggs. After she finished cooking, she immediately prepared the dining table and brought the cooked food there. She smiled widely as she smelled the fried rice. She immediately closed her eyes to smell its delicious smell.

She put the plate and the utensils. She also made a black coffee for him. She doesn't know if he likes black coffee but based on what she knows men really like coffee especially black coffees. "You look like a wife cooking for her husband."

She immediately jumped in shock when she heard the voice behind her. She felt his hot breath on her exposed neck. She swallowed the lump on her throat and faced him but – wrong move because their noses immediately touches.

She felt like bewitching because she immediately stared at his glowing eyes. His eyes immediately traveled to her face. Down to her bottom lip when she unintentionally bit it. She saw how he swallowed hard while staring at her lower lip.

"And that husband is me. "

His eyes seemed weak while staring at her before slowly bringing his face closer to hers. Her lips parted and waited for what would happen next. She closed his eyes when she saw his lips gradually approach her. There is only a little distance between them and they are about to kiss. But immediately stopped when they heard a noise on the phone

Ringgggg!!

She quickly open up her eyes and pushed him away when she heard the phone ringing. She looked away with embarrassment. She closed her eyes tightly and turned away, she heard him cuss many times with the smell of a snake.

"Fvckingsonofabitch! " he cuss that she can barely understand it.

"What!? " rinig niyang marahas nitong singhal sa tumawag.

She immediately pretend to be busy. Even though she already did it earlier in placing the spoon, she still fixed it again.

"You fvcking desturb me idiot! " saad nito na mas ikinamula ng kanyang mukha.

She secretly glanced at him but immediately went back to what she was doing when she saw that his gaze was following her.

"Shut up! Call me later. " Saad nito at pinatay ang tawag.

She immediately straightened up when she saw on her peripherals that he was walking towards her so she immediately pretended not to notice him. She heard his footsteps on her side which immediately surprised her.

"Is this mine? " Mahina at malambing ang boses nitong tanong sa kanya at kinuha ang isang tasang kape.

Tumikhim siya at tumango.

"O-oo. Ginawan kita. Though, hindi ko alam kung umiinom ka ba ng kape. " Mahina ang boses niyang sagot.

Kita niya ang pagsimsim nito sa kanyang tinimplang kape habang ang paningin nito ay nasa kanya parin kaya hindi niya maiwasang mapakagat ng labi dahil sa hiya at kaba. Kaba na baka hindi nito magustuhan at kape at hiya dahil sa kahiya-hiyang nangyari kanina.

"A-anong lasa? M-mapait ba? Gusto mo palitan ko? " Kinakabahan niyang tanong at akmang kukunin ang tasa nang bigla nitong inilayo sa kanya.

"Why would you take it? This is for me right? And the taste? It tastes great and even more delicious because you are the one who made it. " Her lips parted because of what he said. She blinked and stared at him in disbelief.

"Close your mouth, i might kiss it roughly. "

Agad niyang naitikom ang kanyang bibig at nag-iwas ng tingin.

"K-kumain na tayo. " Nahihiyang pag-aya niya dito at humila ng upuan at agad na umupo.

Hinila din nito ang upuan sa kanyang tabi at umupo.

She was about to get the bowl of fried rice when he got ahead of her and filled her plate. Next he took the bacon and eggs and put them on her plate.

"S-salamat. " Nahihiya niyang pasasalamat at tumungo at nag simula ng kumain.

Tahimik lang sila at walang ni-isa sa kanila ang bumasag sa katahimikan hanggang sa natapos namin ang kanilang pagkain ng agahan.

Tinulungan siya nito sa pag ligpit at pati nga sa paghuhugas ay gusto nitong ito na ang gumawa ngunit agad siyang tumanggi dahil nakakahiya naman dito. Ito ang may-ari nitong condo at nakikitira lang siya dito.

Kaya ang ending ay pinapanood lang siya nito habang siya'y nag huhugas. Nakakailang man ngunit pinilit niya nalang ang sariling huwag itong pansinin dahil baka pag pinansin niya ito ay hindi niya na agad matapos ang paghuhugas ng mga pinggan. Nakakailang naman kasi ang paninitig nito, subrang lalim na kulang na lang ay lunurin siya nito.

Pagkatapos niyang maghugas ay agad na silang bumalik sa kanya-kanyang kuwarto para maligo.
