Y/n's POV~
Since there are now six people the examiners turned on the speaker and the instructions were given. This one is based on team work with people aka majority rules, Leorio was already starting stuff with Tonpa for no reason.
"Hey look a door!" Kurapika points
"Click X to go right and O to go left huh?"
We all push the buttons '2 O and 4 X'
"WHAT WHY WOULD YOU GUYS CLICK RIGHT?" Leorio screamed
"Because when the human mind is confused there more likely to go left and the Examiners probably knew that already." Kurapika informs
"Which mean going left is hypothetically harder." Killua finished
"Yeah I've heard that before to." I agree
We walk right as the door opens and Leorio complains
"At this point I think Leorio's complaining just proves his old age!" I whisper to Killua, he starts laughing
Time skip~
After walking for a couple hours we hit this open area that has what seems to be a bottom-less pit and a scoreboard
'Are there people over there?!' I squint at the platform across from us
"Hey guys look at that over there." Killua said
"Hey, the applicants are here take of the handcuffs!" An unknown speaker demanded. Everyone on that side was un-handcuffed and the first man took of his cloak.
"Now let's get down to business." He grinned
"Gentlemen let me explain-." A speaker started
"HEY,UH NO I THINK YOU FORGOT I AM NOT A MAN OK?! RESTART PLEASE!" I corrected
"Uhh... right yes we'll gentlemen and lady please let me explain," he sweat dropped "I'm sure you have figured out that the people standing before you are prisoners."
"Prisoners?" Kurapika muttered
The speaker man continued telling us how bad these prisoner people are and that all six of us are gonna fight them. One person per prisoner basically, and to become a victor your opponent must admit defeat or die. Because this phase happens the be majority rules we also need three wins to pass. The longer the prisoners keep us here the more amount of years they get let off there sentence.
"So who's up against me?" The first prisoner asked
"I will go!" Tonpa volunteers. Leorio throws a fit about it but let's him go anyway. Tonpa looked really confident until the man said it would be a fight to the death. He surrendered and we lost one win.
"GOD DAMMINT I KNEW YOU WERE GONNA LOSE! YOU ARE DOING IT ON PURPOSE!"
"Yeah I know." Tonpa smirked as Leorio pulled the coller of his shirt, threatening to punch him.
"I wanna go next!" Gon shouted walking onto the stage.
He was met with a lanky boy, with olive skin and black hair. His match wasn't a fight, it was to run time. He gave Gon two candles to choose from and they both sat there till the candles burned out and whoever's burnt out first loses.
"Gon we will let you choose which candle you want! We trust you!" Kurapika assured
"Ok! I think I'll go with the long candle please." Gon insisted. He was thrown the candle of his choice and we just stood there watching.
"Ugh Kurapika how long do you think it's gonna burn for?" Killua complained putting his hands behind his head.
"About 9 hours.."
