It's been a year since the last time we saw our friends. It's been a year since I've afiches the goal of life, my freedom is mine. I can be a normal civilian with Killua, okay maybe we can never be completely normal due to our circumstances but that's okay. I know I should be happy about this kind of thing because after all I've been through I need a longggggg break, I can't help but get antsy though, being what's considered normal seems so lazy to me. I've become a clean- o- holic just to pass the time. Ive mastered two hobbies and I still feel like I'm not doing enough. That's why this chapter isn't really the end for me, it's another milestone.
*RING RING RING*
"Hey babe, can you hold this for a sec?"
"Yeah sure." Killua agrees, taking all of the groceries out of my hands and into his
I open the flap to my purse and start digging for the dialed phone.
*RING RING RING,* I can barley hear it over the crowded plaza.
"Hello?" I answer
"Y/n, it's been quite some time,"
"KURAPIKA?!" I gasp, Killua looks at me with wide eyes, he leans in a bit to try and hear the conversation better
"Yeah, I wanted to inform you that I've been doing some work and heard rumors that there is still one surviving Kurta member,"
His tone shifts the mood
"No way actually? Where are you and how did you figure that out?!? Is Gon with you?"
"No, I'm gonna call him right after this call. Risa and Leorio will take part in this mission to of course."
"W-well me and Killua have Alluka so..."
"She can come but just not with us the whole time, it's dangerous and if you value her life have her stay in one safe location. I'm almost out of minutes for this flip phone but come to the address I sent you as soon as possible, I need to contact the others too for this mission before it's too late."
The line ends
"Oh ok, bye....."
'He seems stressed I want to help as much as possible. After the mission is over I'm sure me and him can spend some time together!'
"So what's up?"
"I'll explain on the plane, we have to book a flight to Yorknew city for tomorrow morning!" I stress, leavening no time to waste I sprint back to our apartment
"HUAH ?! HEY WAIT FOR ME!"
Running through the crowd was quiet challenging but I made it home in 5 minutes, up the stairs to out apartment, unlocking the door I go to our room.
"JESUS WHY DO YOU RUN SO FAST." Killua pants behind me
"Kurapika needs us let's start packing right now!" I grin
'I've been itching for a new adventure'
"What are you guys up too?" Alluka skips into our room, she freezes "Y/n why are you packing your stuff into a backpack?"
"You know our friend Kurapika we told you about? The one with one dying wish and that's to revenge his clan?" Killua turns to Alluka, she nods
"He needs help on a mission so we are going to go help him, would you be okay coming with us or would you want to stay somewhere safe? This mission is life threatening so be aware of the choice you make." He lectured
"I wanna go with big brother and Y/n!!! It would be so lonely without you guys I would be really sad...." She mopes
"Argh fine but don't get mad at me when I'm all bossy and controlling to make sure you're safe!"
