Y/n's POV:
We arrived on Whale Island today and I'm super excited! I feel relaxed leaving the hell I was forced to call home, even though I never called it that.
"We are here!" Gon cheered jumping off of the boat
"Yay!!!" I inhaled the fresh air as I killua jumped of
I admired the green landscape with all the beautiful plants.
'It reminds me of Grandma's' I smile
"Okay let's go!" Gon runs straight up a hill and we follow
After a couple of minutes of running, we come across this small brown house with a red-headed lady doing laundry outside of it.
"AUNT MITO!!!!!"The red-headed lady turned around with a look of surprise.
"Gon?!" We hear her delightful voice as we approach her front porch
"MITO!!!!" He cheered and jumped on her
Killua and I stood there In awkward-ness as he reunited with his aunt Mito and his grandma
'They seem so close.' I admire as I watch Gon 'I wish I had that.'
"Oh- Gon I didn't know we had company! Come inside it's almsot sun set!" She apologizes and brings us in
We come inside her house and Killua and I just stare at everything, It's so small and warm and smells like something fresh has just been made. Nothing at all like our houses, this house... it was home-like.
"This is Y/n and Killua they are my best friends, Sorry for not telling you about us coming here heh!" Gon apologizes
"Don't worry I made plenty of dinner to go around, boys go wash up!"
"Wha?! But I was gonna show them the island!!!" Gon wines making Killua snicker
Aunt Mito gives the boys the look, and they dash into the bathroom, I laugh and sit at the table
"So Y/n are you Gon's girlfriend?!" The grandma asks excitedly
my cheeks get red and I cough in embarrassment
"Mom!" Aunt Mito yells
"I-uh uhm actually I'm not dating Gon I dont like him like that!" I correct
"How is it always traveling with those two rascals? Don't you get lonely being the only lady? They don't bother you do they?" The grandma bombards me with questions
"Oh actually I love traveling with the boys, I don't get to stop and think about the fact that I'm the only girl because I feel so comfortable around them! I don't think Gon or Killua has ever made me uncomfortable." I answer truthfully
"Gon is such a sweetheart he would cry if he found out he ever made a girl sad!" The grandma laughs
"Y/n I'd hate to make you uncomfortable by asking you this but I just feel as if I should help. Have you been taking care of your body? Like during your menstrual period? Do you need anything at all? I know it must be hard because you doing hunter people things..." Aunt Mito whispers a bit awkwardly
'Uhm what-?'
"I- no I have no issues during my menstral but thank you so much for the offer, My own mother has never even done that before..." I thank her
'This question is supposed to make me feel awkward but for some reason, I feel thankful...'
"She hasn't? Oh how terrible!" Aunt Mito comes from the kitchen and kneels to my height and grabs onto my hands
