Y/n's POV:

The next morning I woke up and told Risa everything

"Okay Risa, we need to start strength training so you can at least protect yourself. My family is looking for me to become the Heavens arena heir so they will most likely try to use you as a source to distract me. That can't happen." I explain

She nods her head in enthusiasm

"Lets start with this exercising plan to get you stronger than the average human being, your gonna have to work your ass off if you want even a smidge chance to enter the hunters exam can you handle it?"

"Of course I Can Y/n let's just start already!"

'Huh exited are we?' I smirk

*two months later*~

"DOUBLE TWIST!"

"PUNCH, DEFENSE KICK!"

"DIVERSION FLIP!"

Risa and I have been training for a little while now, she is as strong as a level 10 heavens arena fighter so she's doing pretty good for the time crunch. I need her to learn nen within the next 3 months which is gonna be hard to do but I'll figure out a way.

"Nice job your done. Wanna go out for breakfast?"

"I-yeah!" Risa breaks a sweat "are any restaurants going to be open though? It just turned 6."

"Yeah I'm sure we will find one, I still wanna explore the rest of the island anyway." I bring out my phone while she starts walking ahead

'No Missed Calls.'

"Ugh it's been months.... I hope he's okay." I frown, I haven't heard from Killua in forever

I drag my feet back home to get ready to go out with my cousin.

"Almost ready?" She knocks on the bathroom door frame (bc the door is open)

"Let me finish mascara real quick!"

"Your aloud to put on makeup?!" She gasps

"Yeah? Are you not?"

She shakes her head no "Not until I'm 16 that's what the social norms are here to keep girls pure."

"Ew- that sounds misogynistic. Want me to put some on you?"

"Me?! I mean maybe, i don't know the people would look at me funny."

"So? Who cares what these conservative people think plus no one will hurt you with me around!" I point to myself

"Mm you right change is good!" She smiles, pushing herself up on the sink I laugh and put light makeup on her face because she is already naturally beautiful

After we both got ready we headed into town to look for a cafe, the air was fresh and breezy it felt really nice to have it slightly blow my hair in the wind. Risa and I walked hand in hand as I realized that was a comfort for her early on. We picked a spot, ate and explored down town. We saw a cute book shop and she wanted to go in so I let her as I sat at a table right outside the shop.

"Pfft is that Risa through the window?" a random girl scoffed

"I never thought I would see her dumb face again." A brunette boy snickers

"Lets go inside and say hello." Another smirked as they walk inside

'Mm?' I stare at them feeling irritated "no, let her handle this." I mutter to myself

"AH!" I see my cousin get grabbed by her hair and thrown into the dirt
