Y/n's POV~

It was around midnight, probably. Killua and i were just laying in the grass, there was a hudge tree behind our heads and a small fire infront of us. It was nice we were just making small talk and watching the stars.

"Hey y/n?"

"Hmm?"

"I got a question," Killua muttered

"Shoot."

"A-are you uhm," he paused looking at the sky with a more guilty look "Y/n are you scared of me?"

"W-what?!" I sat up in panic,He sat up to in response "Killua is that what you have been thinking this whole time?! Is that why you think I ignored you?!" I shook his shoulders

"Maybe..." he was looking at the floor, hands in his lap and he sit cross cross. His body was a bit tense due to my sudden grab

"Oh Killua Im so sorry! I swear that's not it I've just been having to deal with somthing personal and I've been afraid to tell you the issue but that's it honestly! Killua I hope you know I could never be afraid of you. I like you a lot, I swear."

"You like me?" He questioned

"W-well duh you're a good Uhm....friend." I stuttered letting him go

"Oh. Yeah you're a good friend to." He told me, looking a bit dissatisfied

"Geeze I can't believe you thought I was scared of you, you're so dumb" I ruffled his hair for a sec then leaned against the tree.

"Well if you didn't like me you would be to nice to tell me!" He said

'No I would probably distance myself from you.'

"Well I'm not scared of you, so that's that."

Just then I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and I hurled over.

"You ok?" He looked at me confused

"I uhm yeah haha."

"Don't lie, I don't like it when you do that."He said pulling out badges out of his pocket

"no Killua it's ok you don't-"

"Shut up. Just let me help you thats what friends do alright?" He looked at me dead in the eyes

"k-Kay"

"This is not too deep, that bandage will help you last till tomorrow since it will be our last day here tomorrow anyway." He explained "uhm don't take this weirdly but... I'm gonna need you to take off your shirt." He blushed

"E-eh?!"

"Im not a creep I promise the wound is just high on your stomach and u won't be able to reach it with your shirt on!"

I sighed and took off my shirt, it was pretty ripped anyway. I was left in just a sports bra and probably as red as a tomato but so was Killua.

'So awkward....'

He cleaned the cut with peroxide causing me to hiss in pain, it was pretty deep. He ended up giving me a few stitches but all in all it wasn't that bad.

"Here," he handed me his white over shirt leaving him in just his blue long sleeve.

"No it's okay I-"

"Just wear it stop being so stubborn! Lemme know if it hurts. It's probably gonna scar but don't worry, scar's are pretty hot." He winked as he walked away

"E-eh?!" I blushed "Wait where are you going Killua?"

"On a walk, just to think about things."

"Oh okay, well imma sleep up there." I pointed to the thick branch above

He hummed and disappeared into the darkness

'I hope he will be ok..' I pondered as I drifted off to sleep

Timeskip~

Killua's POV

I walked back from my small walk only to stumble upon a sleeping y/n.

'Hmm, she looks good in white.'

I sat against the trunk of the tree she was sleeping on. I turned to my right only to see Y/n's bag. I put on a cat like smirk,

'She wouldn't mind if I did a little snoop right?'

I opened up the bag and dug threw it. I found her camera a water purifier and a flashlight. Oh and also a bunch of stickers and one changing shirt and shorts for emergencies. There was also one card at the bottom.

I grabbed it to see what is was.

"Number 99?" I whispered shining her flashlight on it

An immediate feeling of guilt splashed over me. She was protecting me this whole time! I'm so dumb ugh. I thought she was scared of me but she was just scared of betraying me! God I need to say sorry in the morning. I'm so dumb

I flicked my head out of anger and stood up. I climbed up a branch and chilled there for a couple hours until I eventually fell asleep.

In the morning~

Y/n's POV:

I fluttered my eyes open only to be greeted by a slight cool breeze and also a stiff back. I groaned as I jumped from the tree and onto the soft grass.

'Where is Killua?'

Just then I heard some rustling in the bushes I put my guard up waiting to see what was in the bush.

"Yo," Killua greeted "I got breakfast." He held up some dead rabbits and some berries.

A little bit later he was roasting the food over the fire as I went to go wash the berries in the stream that was right next to us.

"Eh? Killua you know that these berries are poisonous right?!" I shouted not caring if opponents could hear

"Oops! Well for me it doesn't really matter Im immune anyway."

"Same here but do you think they would even taste good?" I asked getting up with the damp berries

"Only one way to find out!" He jumps up snatching them from my hands and eating some. He chewed them for about 2 seconds before a sour face appeared.

"Ew! They taste so sourrr!!!!" He pouted spitting it out.

"PFTT-" I laughed as I sat on the grass next to him, as he cooked the rabbits I just observed his every move. Not it a creepy way I was just people watching!

Killua's POV~

"Hey y/n?"

"Hmm?"

"Im sorry." I apologized

"For what?"

"I went through your bag last night and I saw that I am your target, I just wanted to say sorry for being an ass earlier and for searching through your stuff." I admitted

There were a few seconds of silence then I heard a little sniffle. I turned my back and saw Y/n tryin not cry,

"hey why are you crying?!" I panicked gettting up

"Im just really glad you're not mad at me!" She smiled in relief as tears streamed down her face

'Why would I be mad? It's not like she actually tried to attack me, she straight up avoided me just to prevent that issue!'

"Ah geeze you're such an idiot, I wouldn't be mad at you for somthing like this!" I rufffled her hair tryin to cheer her up. "Here,the foods done."

"Kay!" She smiled,tears dried
