Last X Phase

It has officially been the last day of the 4th phase. Y/n and Killua sat under a tree as the lady with the pink hair congratulates all the remaining contestants.

Y/n's pov~

"Okay everyone I guess that's it- oh number 405,403 and 404 glad you could make it!"

'Phew, glad they made it.' I got up walking to go greet the boys who had probably worked there asses off to get here

"Hey Y/n!" Gon greeted "oh hey Killua! Damn You guys were here way before us heh."

"Oooh look who's wearing Killua's shirtttt~" Leorio teased

'Shit I forgot about that!'

"Shut up its not like that!" Killua defended

Time skip~

Y/n's POV

So the phase has ended, Killua didn't get mad at me and also we are now closer then before I feel like. I even considered Killua my friend, He and kurapika are the only ones I open up to anyway. We are now on the blimp to the last phase.

"Let's go explore!" Gon suggested

"Yeah su-"

"Okay number 226 please go into Neturo's office to be interviewed at once." The speaker cut me off

"Ugh I'll be back, go on without me."

I walked over to Neturo's office and opened the door.

"Hello number 226 please come sit down!"

I did as I was told while he asked me questions

"So why do you wanna become a hunter?"

"I don't, I'm just here to see if something I was missing was here."

"Well is it?" He questioned, writing things on his board

"Yes it is here."

"Ok next question, which applicants are you keeping a close eye on and which one would you least like to fight?"

"I'm keeping an eye on number 11 cause hes got what I'm missing and I would least like to fight 405,403,404 and 99. "

He dismisses me and I leave. I walk around for a little bit wondering where the boys could've gone. There so weird, but not in a bad way.

"Hey Y/n over here!" I heard a man call, it was Leorio

I walked over to them and sat down, Gon,Killua and I were sitting on stools and Kurapika and Leorio stood. We talked about all sorts of things like what had happened in the previous phases and what we might do next, I will say it felt really nice to talk to people for once, these boys are all so nice and carefree. I can't get attached though, the exam is almost over anyway.

"I guess it would make sense if we had a written test." I agreed with Kurapika

"Ugh I suck at math!" Gon pouted crossing his arms As Killua made fun of him

"Oh wait Y/n I actually have a question!" Kurapika looked at me as I hummed in response

"Why were you all beat up when we found you guys at the end of the exam?"

I panicked for a second as memory's flashed into my mind, I huffed as I spilled the truth.

"So I went to look for my second badge and I stumbled across number 11. He tore me up pretty good but I somehow managed to steal his badge and survive, though im pretty sure he LET me live."I explained as they all payed close attention

"Im actually pretty glad I could get up the next day and find you Killua, cause if I didn't someone else would've tried to kill me if I passed out again."
