Y/n's POV~
I claimed a bed across the hall from the boys cause there was another girl here. I got comfy in my bed prepared to go to sleep.
"Shit I forgot to eat....meh who cares" I whisper to myself
"Goodnight 226." I heard the girl, Pozzle say (226 is your pin nunber)
"Goodnight!" And with that she shut off the lights
Dreaming~
I felt my dream terrors surrounded me, watching me. My palms started sweating and my heart rest increased.
'Ugh god dammit' I continued running in a dark creepy forest hoping it would help.... Did it? Nope it made me feel worse. I tripped over a damn vine on the ground and that's when they surrounded me! I could feel my imaginary demons crawl on top of me, I felt my eyes get glossy as I curled into a ball. I wanted to wake up because I know this is a dream but I was to scared to move.
They whispered to me, "If you're not the best person in the room, then you're nothing!" Repeating and repeating and they got louder in my head
"YOUR SUCH A DISGRACE!!" They Growled at me. I started sobbing quietly cause I was used to this so when I cried I never made much noise.
"Be better, it's not the difficult." They told me..
TIMESKIP~
Killua's POV~
I woke up to see Y/n already outside and dressed. She was looking out the window but somthing was off, it felt as if she was in a daze.
"What are you doing up so early?" I asked
"Couldn't sleep."
She looked terrible, her hair was a bit frizzy and her eyes were slightly puffy
"Hey, let's take a walk." I recommended grabbing her wrist gently and she followed. We made it away from a open area and she told me about her night terrors.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing...."
"Lier."
"I don't want to talk about it!" She resist
"Okay that's fine let's just sit here than." I gave her a sympathetic look, she started crying.
'I can barely even hear her cry...' I mentally note
"I'm really sorry I don't even know why crying on someone I barely know this is so weird for me. I know it's stupid I'm sorry-"
"Idiot, don't worry about it." I laughed
After a minute she put herself back together.
"Thanks a lot Killua, I feel better." She said looking at me with her eyes still a bit sad
'Dummy, I couldn't even be there for you like how you did for me.'
"I'm only returning the favor." I gave her a warm smile as she gave me one back
"HEY GUYS, MORNING!" Gon cheered barging into our conversation
"AH JESUS GON WHAT THE FUCK!" Y/n screamed
"YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" I smacked his head
"OWWWW!!! I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you!!" He cried "Wait what were you guys even doing huh?" Gon smirked
"Shut up, we were just talking." I blushed
"Whatever, I wanna go see if Kurapika is up, later guys!" She let go of me running off
"Bye y/n!" We said
"Soooo? You and Y/n??"
"H-HUHHH??"
TIMESKIP~
After listening to Gon ramble for an hour we got off the airship and onto a very tall tower. We met up with the rest of the gang after everyone got off.(Killua's pov)
Y/n's POV-
"The task is to get to the bottom of this tower before the time is up, you have 72 hours to do so. Good luck!" The green blob thingy instructed then went back to the airship
"Hmm that's 3 days isn't it Kurapika?"
"Yeah it is, good job y/n!" He chucked ruffling his hands through my hair
"Hey!" I wined
After Kurapika ruined my hair left to go hang out with Gon and Killua.
"Hey guys whachya lookin at?" I questioned crouching down next to them
"This rock climber dude is climbing down the tower." Gon explained
Leorio and Kurapika came over to see what we were looking at
We sat there and watched him for only a minute before we hear, idk like a bird? But much larger. Then we saw it and it's flock scoop him up and kill him. His screams Pierced our ears as we watched his limbs rip to shreds.
"Uhhh...so let's not climb down yeah?" I sweat dropped in shock
"Yeah!" Everyone agreed still shook from what they just saw
"Hey look, where did all the other contestants go?" Kurapika pointed out "hmm that means there has to be another way in. Guys try searching for trap doors or anything that looks like an opening."
"Ok!"
3 mins later_
"Hey Kurapika look what we found out!" Gon hollered as he walked over here
"So it turns out there are trap doors but only one door can fit one person!"
"They can only be used once." Killua interjected
"But look there's 5 trap doors right next to eachother!" I said
"It could be a trap but we are willing to take that risk if you are." Gon finished
"Hmm. Ok so no hard feelings if it's a trap?" I assured
"Yep. This is a temporary goodbye!" Kurapika said
"Goodluck everyone!" Leorio said
We all agreed as we fell through. I landed on my feet preparing for a fight until I hear steps next to me, and a face slamming on the ground
'Huh?'
"Ouch! Dammit." Leorio tsked
"So much for a goodbye." Kurapika deadpanned
Killua,Gon and I just giggled and walked over to each other in habit.
"Hey look I think we need to grab a bracelet." Gon points to the sign
We all go grab one and put in on, the new examiner tells us we can't continue without another person. So we all just wait as Leorio complains about our time running out.
"Killua! Push me on your skateboard yeah?" I asked
"Sure." He agreed
5 minutes later of Killua pushing me around somthing fell next to Leorio it must've been heavy cause I felt the vibrations of the fall from the other side of the room.
"O-oh we meet again every one!" Tonpa greeted
