"Sige, anak. I'll change your outfit, okay? We'll go to the church to pray. I love you, happy birthday."

Binihisan ko na si Kaior matapos ko siyang paliguan. It's already Sunday, and birthday na ni Kaior. Buti nga ngayon is may simba, eh.

"Mama! Tito Kaiden is outside na, po!" Kaior informed me, shouting, nasa baba na kasi siya.

I just wore a simple outfit. Which is a green t-shirt paired with white jeans. I looked like a teenager when I was watching my reflection at the mirror. I'm so happy nanumbalik na ang looks ko.

Si Papa is nasa company. Si Mama naman ay sabi niya sasama raw siya. So I headed to her room, but to my shock, nagmamadali siya.

"Ma, tara na-"

"I'm sorry, there is an emergency lang, anak." she said, naitikom ko agad ang bibig ko. She went to me and give my cheek a kiss. "Your Papa told me to come to his hotel tonight. Doon ice-celebrate ang birthday ng apo ko." she informed me.

My face lit up, I was shocked too. I am so sure maraming tao na dadalo roon sa hotel ni Papa. And, ugh! Paano ko i-explain na anak ko si Kaior? Sasabihin ko sa kanila na ampon ko siya? No, I won't do that. Maybe hindi na nila kailangan ng explanation.

"Tita," Kaiden greeted Mama.

"Sorry, I can't come. I needed to go to the hospital, there is an emergency." sabi ni Mama. "Kaiden, bantayan mo na lang sina Zior."

"Okay, Tita," Kaiden smiled at her before Mom went inside to her car and drove away.

I sighed heavily. Just how stressing being a doctor could be? Sa pagiging Psychologist kaya? Sino na ang magbabantay kay Kaior kapag naging busy na 'ko?

"Let's go now." Kaiden snapped me out from my thoughts. He looked so handsome.

Yumuko ako at pumasok na sa loon ng car niya. Kaior is on the backseat. Kaiden drove away while I was just reading my book.

"Zior, relax. Sa Wednesday pa ang test." Kaiden said.

"I needed to study," sabi ko.

"Birthday ni Kaior, you should pause on doing that for now." umiling siya. "Enjoy this day with your son. He needs more attention from you.

Eh 'di, siya na ang best Daddy sa mundong ito.

I placed down my book, I looked at the back to see Kaior who was just sitting silently. Napangiti siya sa akin nang makita niya ako.

"Ayos ka lang diyan?" I asked.

"Yes, Mama," he nodded.

"Happy birthday, Kaior," Kaiden said. So, hindi pa pala niya nasabi 'yan kay Kaior?

"Thank you, Tito!" Kaior thanked Kaiden. Kaior had no idea that the one he calls 'Tito' is his father.

"You're always welcome, buddy," Kaiden chuckled.

When we arrived at the church. Lumabas na ako and I was about to get Kaior to carry him, pero naunahan ako ni Kaiden. Sasama pala siya? I thought kasi na rito lang siya maghihintay sa loob.

"Let's go," I was shocked when he suddenly held my hand while he carries Kaior with him.

My heart was pounding so fast and loud. I can feel my sweat forming on my forehead. I wanted to let go but I didn't know why I can't! Nagpapaubaya na lang ako sa kaniya, and I didn't know why.

And the fact that we looked like a couple while walking like this, made my cheek burns in red. We looked like a family. Well in fact, family naman talaga kami. And by knowing that, I felt something inside, like peace and happiness.
