LISA

Achooouuu!!

Alice instantly rolled up the passenger-side window and nagged concernedly, "It's already autumn; you have to take care of your body; don't fall sick."

I burrowed deeper into my coat and said softly, "Thanks, you too."

We were surrounded by silence.

I bowed my head and unlocked my phone, silently reading through X, when I spotted the "Suzy Bae proposed to by a fan" result on the hot search.

Everything was in place: wedding veil, kneeling on one knee.

Nobody expected a fan to pull it off.

After a brief glance, I was about to leave when I noticed a "Jennie Kim's unedited photo" item on the popular search.

Perhaps because of the system, I was now curiously pulled every time I saw anything about her.

So I pressed the button and opened the photo.

The photo was a little fuzzy, but it couldn't take away Jennie's beauty.

She was wearing plain-colored clothing, and Jisoo was standing in front of her, taking off a Bluetooth headset.

Her skin was as white as porcelain, and her finger joints were clear and distinct.

The autumn wind rustled through her hair and clothes, and her dropped eyelashes seemed to disguise her charm.

At that point, everything in the world was reduced to mere decoration.

This was this world's sweetheart, the female lead, Jennie Kim.

Speaking of which, I needed to brush up on my understanding of her work; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to live up to my promise to her that I always support her.

I merely wanted to make a good impression on her; it would substantially improve our future relationships.

But since I said it, I'll do it.

Fortunately, Jennie had just debuted this year, so she didn't have too many projects that would take up a lot of my time to watch.

I was just thinking about it when Alice asked, "Did you see the hot search?"

"What?" I snapped back to reality, as if waking up from a dream.

"Hot search."

"Didn't you see Suzy was proposed to by a fan?"

"Oh, that. I just saw it."

"These crazy devoted fans nowadays are really inexplicable; you never know what they're going to do next, but thankfully this one is okay; at least the artist wasn't harmed."

"Yeah, it's still alright." My response was a little boring.

I wasn't good at socializing; I was used to doing my own thing silently.

I was accustomed to never being able to be part of a group; prior to resigning, I was always the quietest, most hidden person in the entire workplace.

When everyone else was chatting, I was quietly sitting aside, working on my own things.

Nobody cared about me anyway, so I didn't need to say anything.

It was as if I were an alien who had crashed onto Earth.

This type of event occurred every day, and it was already a part of my daily existence.

So, even after receiving the main protagonist's halo, I couldn't adjust immediately, always believing I was in the past.
