Alison had left to buy dinner and had just arrived.
Jennie took some bags from her hands, helping to share the load.
Alison looked at the set, then at her. "All done?"
Jennie nodded.
"Everything good? You didn't get hurt, right?
As Jennie's assistant, if she wasn't on the scene and Jennie had accidentally gotten hurt,
Jisoo would scold her to death after she went back to the company!
Jennie answered calmly and warmly, "Mm, all is well, no injuries."
Alison sighed in relief and smiled: "That's good. Are you hungry? I bought the food; let's go back to the hotel to eat and rest."
Jennie asked, "What about the medicine box?"
Alison immediately lifted the small black box she was holding in her right hand and shook it gently, saying, "Here, all prepared."
Jennie has finally relaxed.
They got back to the hotel and entered the lift.
Alison looked at the numbers changing, then at Jennie.
She thought for a while, then asked, "Jen, are you really okay with letting her stay in your room alone?"
Alison wasn't familiar with Lisa and didn't know her character. She was unsure if Lisa was really as innocent as she looked.
Lisa was also a newcomer, and there was basically no information about her online.
So when Jennie mentioned that she wanted to bring Lisa back to her room to take care of her, Alison couldn't help but worry.
Jennie said, "Honestly, not."
Alison looked at her in hopes of getting an agreement.
That's right, you're also worried something will happen with a stranger in your room!
"I'm worried she'll aggravate her wound," Jennie continued.
Thinking about it, Lisa would definitely stay still, no matter how scared she was of pain.
But she didn't have the habit of being taken care of, and she didn't want to trouble others.
Jennie was worried Lisa would force herself to endure the pain and do whatever she wanted, not waiting for her to come back.
Maybe Lisa is alone in the room, crying in pain right now.
Alison looked helpless. "That's not what I meant."
Jennie understood at that moment, turning to look at her.
Then the elevator arrived with a ding.
Jennie smiled.
"Even if you don't trust my assessment of others, you should trust Jisoo."
Alison froze for a second, then ran out of the elevator and followed her.
"Jen, don't misunderstand. It's not that I don't trust you. But some people are just deceitful by nature, and I'm worried you'll be fooled."
"I understand," Jennie said, patting her arm comfortingly. "But Lisa won't deceive me."
Lisa is not someone like that.
She was always careful, cherishing every friend to the point that she could give up her gloves and slippers even in the middle of winter.
So she believed Lisa wouldn't deceive her.
She also hoped Lisa would never deceive her.
