Aang was pacing back and forth nervous about what Avatar Roku had told him and this was starting to annoy Sokka and myself because it didn't seem like a big issue.
"Would you sit down? If we hit a bump you'll go flying off" Sokka stated
"It's what Avatar Roku said. I'm supposed to master the 4 elements before the comet arrives" Aang expressed nervous and anxious
"Well let's see" Sokka turned his head to Aang "You pretty much mastered airbending and that took you 112 years, I'm sure you can master 3 more by elements by next summer" he stated sarcastically
This really set Aang off "I haven't even started waterbending and we're still weeks away from the north pole"
I sat forward "We've got plenty of time. quit being a nervous Nancy"
Katara took the most direct approach grabbing Aang's arm "Calm down. it's gonna be okay. if you want i can try and teach you some of the stuff i know"
"You'd do that?" Aang smiled
"And after that. i can teach the basics of firebending and see where we go from there" i said offering my assistance because i'm pretty good at firebending
Sokka found a place for Katara and Aang to teach from I decided to chill on a rock resting my body against the hard surface, a put on a hat to avoid the sunlight hitting my face. Sokka took up cleaning Appa's feet
"Scorpion, you want--" he tried to put the job on me.
"not in your lifetime" i cut him off sticking to what i'm doing
(Five minutes later)
After several minutes of training Aang appeared to be getting the hang of Waterbending even if it look like Katara was starting to get jealous of this, Aang conjured up a big large wave which dropped down exactly on Sokka.
I dodged out of the way using fire to keep it from getting me wet. Sokka poked his head out the way annoyed by this fact.
"looks like i got the hang of that move" Aang said proud
I gesture to the water "at the expense of the supplies" i pointed out the supplies going down the river now because of their reckless training.
"Uh sorry" Aang scratched his head "I'm sure we can find stuff to replace it"
"My life was hard enough when you were just a airbender" Sokka said sarcastic and annoyed as he popped back down under the water
As I made my way through the bustling market, my senses were on high alert. The atmosphere was thick with a sense of unease, and the faces of the people around me seemed shrouded in shadows. I clutched my satchel tightly, keeping my money close at hand in case anyone attempted to take advantage of the situation.
Despite the bleak surroundings, I tried to remain calm and focused as I navigated through the throngs of people. Every step felt like a potential hazard, and I was acutely aware of the need to stay alert and aware of my surroundings.
As we gathered our belongings, Sokka's announcement that we had only three copper pieces left from King Bumi's gift left me feeling uneasy. I knew that it wouldn't be enough to sustain us for long.
To my dismay, Aang pulled out a whistle he had purchased, admitting that he had spent one of our precious copper pieces on it. Sokka pointed out that the whistle didn't even work, but Momo seemed to love it nonetheless. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and mutter about never wanting children of my own.
As we walked along the dock, a shady-looking sealer approached us and lured Aang onto his ship. I could tell from the man's appearance that he wasn't to be trusted. Once aboard, we found ourselves surrounded by a miscellaneous collection of items from various nations. Katara took charge of the remaining two copper pieces,
