Leaning against the saddle, I gazed up at the sky, my mind blissfully empty. Appa trudged through the disgusting, polluted water, while Aang frolicked in it, seemingly having the time of his life.

Aang hopped back onto the saddle, his entire body now covered in the filth. "Hey, guys, I think this river is polluted," he exclaimed.

"Really? You don't say," I replied, my voice dripping with sarcasm as I crossed my arms.

Aang swiftly airbent, using his powers to cleanse his body, inadvertently spraying the dirty substance all over the group. However, he quickly realized his mistake and used his airbending to clean us all off. Meanwhile, Sokka struggled to catch any fish, the pollution making it nearly impossible for him to succeed.

Sokka, attempting to lighten the mood, chimed in with a joke. "Well, that explains why I can't catch a fish around here. Because normally my fishing skills are off the hook!" He turned, displaying his empty hook with a wide smile on his face.

The group remained silent, unimpressed by Sokka's attempt at humour. "Get it, like a fishing hook?" Sokka clarified, hoping for a better response.

Toph couldn't resist a sarcastic retort. "Too bad your skills aren't on the hook," she quipped, her dry wit cutting through the silence.

"It seems like we'll have to find another place to get some food," Katara interjected, her stomach rumbling audibly, highlighting her hunger.

I extended my scope and peered into the distance, spotting a town situated in the middle of the river. Excitedly, I shared the discovery with the rest of the group. Sokka, ever the stickler for schedules, grumbled about the unexpected detour but eventually agreed that it was necessary to replenish our food supplies.

I couldn't deny that Sokka's newfound obsession with schedules was beginning to grate on my nerves. As we arrived at our designated campsite, Aang lent a hand by camouflaging Appa with a coat of grass, ensuring our beloved bison blended in with the surroundings.

Dock, a kind-hearted man, offered us a ride and took the opportunity to share the distressing news. He explained how the Fire Nation had constructed a factory that was causing the severe pollution in the water. Intrigued, I used my scope to examine the factory from a distance, witnessing the devastating impact it was having on the environment.

As we arrived in the town, the sight was heart-wrenching. its inhabitants appeared sad and unwell. It disgusted me to witness such suffering. "They don't deserve this," I silently lamented, following the rest of the group through the desolate streets.

Katara and Sokka found themselves in a heated argument. Katara advocated for helping the afflicted people, while Sokka believed it was best to move on and not intervene, deeming it none of their business. Aang stepped in to diffuse the tension, temporarily halting the conversation.

I directed the group's attention to a shop, and as we approached, we were surprised to find Dock inside. However, he insisted that his name was Shoe, It suddenly dawned on me that this must be a case of multiple personalities, further adding to the mystery surrounding the situation.

Having obtained some fish to satisfy our hunger, we made our way back to the camp as darkness settled in. I found myself seated, engrossed in my journal, capturing the events and emotions of our journey. Meanwhile, Aang and Toph took it upon themselves to collect the polluted water, utilizing their bending abilities to separate the clean water from the contamination.

Sokka paced back and forth, clutching the schedule tightly in his hands. "Our unexpected trip to town today has completely thrown off our carefully crafted schedule. It's going to require some serious finagling to get us back on track," he grumbled, his frustration evident.
