Hey people, I decided to skip The Guru parts of episode 19, since it was entitled everyone having a moment of journey, I'm starting it off with the first part of that episode, but then I'll cut to episode 20.

S2 Ep19: Fixing Family

X POV:

As I sat there, sharpening my swords, the sound of metal scraping against metal filled the air. I had momentarily let my guard down, removing my mask, hoping to show my vulnerable side. Meanwhile, Iroh was busy preparing breakfast.

Suddenly, Zuko let out a loud yawn, his awakening breaking the peaceful atmosphere. "What's that smell?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

Iroh continued stirring the pot, responding, "It's Jook. I'm certain you wouldn't enjoy it."

To my surprise, Zuko walked over to the pot and took a whiff. "Actually, it smells delicious. I'd love a bowl, Uncle," he praised, a smile spreading across his face. He held up a bowl, and Iroh filled it with Jook.

Iroh studied Zuko intently and commented with a smile, "Now that your fever is gone, you seem somehow different."

Zuko walked over and sat down next to me. "It's a new day. We have a new apartment, new furniture, and today is the grand opening of your new tea shop," he announced.

With a sense of satisfaction, I completed sharpening my swords and carefully stored them away. As I finished, I noticed Zuko's gaze fixed on me, a thoughtful look on his face. Perplexed, I asked, "What's on your mind?"

Zuko's stare lingered for a moment before he spoke. "You know, you look good without the mask. It allows people to see the real you," he complimented, his words both surprising and encouraging. He then turned his attention towards the window, his gaze filled with optimism. "Things are finally looking up."

*Timeskip*

After spending a considerable amount of time serving tea and attending to the customers, I caught a glimpse of someone familiar in the tea shop. It was Scorpion, but he had abandoned his costume in an attempt to deceive Zuko. I observed him engaging in conversation and laughter with Iroh.

Patiently biding my time, I waited until Scorpion made his way towards the exit. I followed him outside and confronted him, unable to ignore his presence any longer. "Did you really think you could come in here and I wouldn't recognize you?" I sneered, my voice filled with disdain as I confronted him with the truth.

In an instant, Scorpion's costume reappeared, making it clear that he was prepared for a confrontation. "I didn't come here to fight," he responded, his tone surprisingly calm. "I came to put an end to it all."

He then handed me a picture, and as I glanced at it, I realized it depicted my father, mother, and myself. However, Scorpion had deliberately cut himself out of the image. It was a painful reminder of the fractured bond that existed between us.

"I believed you were dead, X. If I had known, I would have come for you," Scorpion confessed, his voice tinged with regret. He took a step to the side, distancing himself slightly. "I'm done. I wanted to connect with my true father, but now all I can offer is a fresh start."

Scorpion extended his hand towards me, his eyes filled with sincerity. "Deal," I said, reaching out to shake his hand, accepting his offer. He turned and began to walk away, and in that moment, I couldn't help but wonder if it would be the last time I would see him. Only time would tell.
