"CAN'T SAY I'm surprised," Amara admitted, trailing after Ian into the Gallagher house the next day. "He had a bitch-fit and fled the scene before I could...holy shit that is a big hole."

Amara froze upon seeing the large opening in the wall between the kitchen and the living room, the sledgehammer still in sight, propped against the staircase. Mickey snorted into his cup. "That's what-" at Amara's glare, his words fell off. "Never mind."

"Hey, Liam," Amara greeted, allowing him to envelope her lower half into a hug before moving to sit at the table.

"Is Lip okay?"

She shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah, he's fine. Not his first time being questioned. Definitely won't be his last."

"Have you guys talked? You know.. since his uh, bitch-fit."

"Texted," Amara told Ian. "He said they're starving him. Might bring him something to eat. Might not. Depends on how bad he pisses me off in the next hour."

"Do we have any triple A batteries?" Frank asked, stepping away from the counter. Amara barely acknowledged him, and the others did the same.

"Mara's right," Ian mused, and Mickey started to smirk. "That is a really big hole. He coulda just said he wanted to renovate."

"Yeah, well, your brothers a fuckin' drama queen, man."

"Amen to that," Amara held up her mug.

"Hey, scarf that shit down. I wanna go check on Terry."

"We got a lot of pick ups to do today. Don't know if we'll have time."

"We would if you stopped yappin' and started eating."

"Hey, actually, I've been wanting to ask you about this," Amara pulled the ring out of her pocket, and Ian's eyes grew wide.

"You proposing to my husband?" Mickey asked. "Right in front of me?"

Amara reached for a napkin and covered Mickey's eyes with it. "Better?"

Ian sighed, though he seemed to be nervous about the following conversation. "What about it?"

"Just want to know where you got it from. I know why you gave it to me," she said with a pointed look, hoping that Ian wouldn't say anything about him wanting Amara to propose to Lip in front of the others. "I'm just curious, relax."

"Just something nice I had lying around."

"Huh," Mickey muttered. "Liar."

"And a bad one at that," Amara commented, shaking her head.

"I've missed this," Carl said randomly, and they turned to him. "I don't know. You and Lip are never around anymore. Fiona's gone. All of my parental figures just went ghost. It's nice to have you here for breakfast, Mara."
