You're leaving | Ch: 37

Tears fill my eyes real quick. Was that him? I breathe heavily and faster. And I can't stop. Why was Liam here? Was that him that I heard earlier?

"Hey. HEY!" I turn to the voice. To find Dan's eyes, looking at me intensely, searching for answers. "You okay?" He looks worried.

Why is he worried? Right Jasper. He's worried for Jasper. "No. uh. yeah, let's go we need to find Jasper"

I get up from the position I was in before, still kinda anxious about Liam being here. My heart won't stop racing like a mad horse.

And as soon as I'm back on my foot I'm immediately pulled back and my shoulders bump on a strong chest.

"You don't look fine. Tell me what's wrong" he orders. I look at him for a while.

Everything. Should I say everything? I am irresistibly in love with a guy who's secretly dating someone else. I guess I honestly have no idea.

The worst part of all of it? I can't stop the feeling that I have for him. Why does my heart race every time I see him? Why do I want him to come back to me and tightly hug me? Why am I worried about him?

"Who was he with?" I blurt out.

"What?"

"Nothing nothing. Let's go, it's getting late!" I start approaching the door. But Dan keeps standing at the same position. I look at him and signal him to come with me. He slowly walks closer to me "You're crazy." He whispers.

We get outta that room. "Let's go upstairs." Suggests Dan.

"Why?"

"What do you mean why?" Is he always this mad? his eyes are so restless. There's always a nerve popping out of his temple. I look at him all agitated before he continues. "This guy came downstairs all rushing, and this area seems really deserted." Oh, he's not suggesting that- 

Ohhh no no no. He doesn't know that Liam and Jasper are friends. "Yeah whatever but Liam didn't do it." I say. Strongly.

"Woh. You seem really sure about Liam." He says and gives a sarcastic smirk. there's still the anger and desperation in his eyes. 

"Yes I am. I am sure he had nothing to do with any of this. Liam and Jasper are friends! If anything wrong was to happen Hyde is behind it."

"You know you talk a lot right? A lot of shit." He says and proceeds upwards. I follow him. What a stubborn jerk.

We reach the hallway. We hear a lot of clapping, from the field. I hope Chloe and Leo are fine. Most of the doors here are locked. These rooms are not in much use.

And suddenly both our eyes fall on a door that isn't locked. It's another store room. Dan burst the door open. And we freeze to the sight before us.

Jasper on the ground, blood splatter on the wall, his face is sweaty, slight blue-ish under his eyes. His eyes are open. And he's barely breathing. I feel tears rushing. the burning sensation my in my throat has doubled in the past few seconds. My hands feel week.   

"FUCK! Fuck! Jasper!!!" I can hear Dan screaming and and sitting beside Jasper but everything still is just blurry. I walk to the corner my eyes wide open and I take long breaths. "I'm gonna fuck that Liam kid!" He furiously turns towards me to say that. I'm still numb. But I get myself together. 

I sit down for just a few seconds. as soon as I get up I find Jasper in his arms. Dan's sweating like crazy. He's temple has become a pool of sweat. and I can't figure out if it's sweat around his eyes or are those tears. This huge stubborn dude teared up. Of course he would. It's his little brother. who's nothing but a nice guy. and after all the struggle they went through, Dan just witnessed his little brother on the way of Death.
