And.... butterflies! The lump slowly dissolves and I feel the rush of waterworks. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me. And I was an idiot to think that I'm strong enough to let you go. To forget you."
"You wanted to forget me?" I murmur
"I tried. Because of.... Things that I can't tell you. And- I couldn't. You've become this habit of mine that I can't change, I feel sick without you, without your touch."
"Then why can't you trust me with the-"
"It involves someone- who's- I can't." I move my hands up and hold his face, I stand on my tippy toes and close my eyes as soon as my lips touch his. He holds my face as well, and when he realizes that I'm losing balance from my standing on the tippy toes.
He wraps his one hand around my waist to keep me in place. The kiss becomes strong and passionate. But he again pulls away. "Will you promise me something?"
I gulp "what?" words leave my mouth in the form of a whisper.
"Promise me that you'll wait. Till I fix things, you won't cry and you won't leave me."
I look him in the eyes, they're red, like tears are threatening to come out "I promise." He immediately leans closer to kiss and collides with the heat I've never experienced before. He holds me tighter in his arms.

He'll fix things. He promised. Shit shit shit! What is this weird tension I feel? This is supposed to feel right. I'm supposed to feel good about it, then why don't I !?
"Aahhgg" I turn around to find Chloe holding her head "take me away from the sun!" her eyes are still shut and I find the blinds letting the thin rays of sunlight enter the room and directly on Chloe's eyes.
I roll down from the bed and properly move the blinds to cover the window. Chloe's snoring again like a starfish. Well not 'snoring' like a star fish but resting like one. I hop down to get coffee for the both of us.
I'm almost down the stairs when I see a milk cart by the side of the stairs. What's it doing here? I sigh and walk past it. Don't know, don't care. Mum's in the kitchen sipping coffee and staring at the newspaper. "Hey mum"
"Hey honey, you guys slept fine?"
"Yeah, we did."
"And how much did Chloe drink last night?" what the.....? How did she-?
"How did you-?"
"She came downstairs, at around 3. Guess she stumbled down a few steps, I came out of the room to see if someone broke in or something. Then I found her drinking milk from the milk cart." she looks up at me with disappointment, but an expected one. I press my lips and smile.
Right. That explains the milk open milk cart on the stairs. "A few beers. I was way too sleepy to even stop her, she kept watching something on the T.V and spoke on her own in between. I just asked her to keep her and the T.V's volume low." I poured myself a cup of black coffee.
I'm gonna need more as the day passes but I prefer black raw coffee in the morning. Just for energy. "EVELYN!" Mum and I both look up in the direction of my room. She's up. Chloe's up and must have a bad hangover.
"Duty calls" I say while taking both the cups of coffee. Mum goes back to reading the newspaper without making any comments. She's a little quieter this morning. Mum's usually very chippery every morning.
She's a morning person like Chloe. That's why when Chloe stays up late she behaves like a grumpy crocodile.
"Evelyn...." little cries come out of my room. "I have the worst fuckin' headache" I enter the room and she's under the covers.
