Yesterday had to be one of the longest days of my life. After school Ari asked me to take her 'home' and I did. Her dad was acting the fool and I had to cuss him out. He said some really hurtful things in front of her and I didn't like it one bit.
So she got all of her things and we spent hours putting them away in her room in my house. Yup she moved in with me. I'm not sure if she tells the girls anything but I don't think they quite know as yet. I was leaving it up to her to tell whomever she wanted.
Gliding up the steps I knocked on her door. Hearing snores. "Ari." I opened the door and she was sprawled out in bed. I knew she was tired. Sitting on the bed next to her I sighed. "Ari." "Hm."
"Cmon you gotta get up for school." "Ms.J can i just stay here? Or if you don't want me in your crib alone can you just drop me to the park until three?" I shook my head. "Nope I'm not letting you miss school even if you have to spend the whole day with me."
"Does that sound better?" She finally raised her head from the pillow and nodded. Today we were going shopping for all the things she needed to decorate her room. I had about six other bedrooms than mine and ari's.
"Okay I'll give you some time to get dressed I'll be downstairs. Starbucks or dunkin?" I asked getting up. "Dunkin." Smiling I left the room. "Ms.J!" She yelled. "Yes?!" "Towel?"
Grabbing her some towels I re entered the room. "Here these are yours." "Thanks Ms.J for real." She said and I knew she wasn't just thanking me for the towels. I opened my arms and she hugged me. "It's no problem sweetheart."

I was glad that Ms.J decided to take me up under her wings but I can't stay. It doesn't feel right. I'm 16 years old about to be 17 in a month I know no one is going to let a seventeen year old rent an apartment or buy a house.
But I don't want to be a burden. Sighing I got dressed for school. My phone started singing off.
