I pulled into the driveway of Kerry's house and grabbed the stack of papers. With graduation in a few hours we'd definitely have to cram this. I was one to avoid last minute work but lately I've been falling behind and cramming seems to be getting the job done.

Getting out of the car I was taking my time grabbing the papers till I saw someone's reflection slip through the door through my glass . I stood up quick and I came face to face with Janet.  "Janet?" .

She had a baby in her arms and I was a bit stuck seeing her after a year. She brought the red hair back and her body filled out more than the lost time
I saw her.

I didn't know exactly how to react in this moment. She gave a small smile and tried to walk past me. I was stuck. She looked... fuck.

Before I had a chance to utter a word she started talking."I'll see you at the graduation." Is all she said before she got into her car. I watched her and noticed that she was strapping a baby in a car seat. I didn't notice the baby in her arms till then.

Her voice.

Go after her.

I couldn't bring myself to move until I heard tires skidding down the street. She was gone. Again. Slamming the door to my truck I stormed into Kerry's house.

She was already there standing looking guilty. "Would you like to tell me what's going on?" I asked and she simply shook her head.

"It's not my business to tell Beyoncé." Bullshit. "How long has she been here?" I watched her screw her face up. "Girl. That's my friend it's no way you think she's not going to be invited here. Take a chill pill.."

"Did you even say anything?" I shook my head no and called down.

I didn't know what to say. I knew she was in town. But she was... close. She was just close enough where I could touch her. My mind doubled back to the baby. She looked about one or a couple months well. "Whose baby is that?" "Now that is definitely not my business to tell." Kerry pointed.

"Why you ain't ask her whose baby it was?" Kerry laughed and I rolled my eyes. "I think I was stuck." "On stupid, grow a pair." I rolled my eyes again and flipped her off.

"I have to go a get ready for the graduation bey. Is this all?" I nodded slowly and shook my head. "You not worth shit... you know that?" "Yea yea yea." She mumbled. "Are you helping me with the paper work?" She asked and I simply replied. "Nope." Turning on my heels I walked back out the way I came.

"You said you were going to help." I ignored her and kept on walking. Whistling 'these boots were made for walking'

What the fuck is going on?

I definitely wasn't ready for this yet. I didn't think I was ready to 'face the music' I got in my truck and face timed Ariana I had to be at the venue before them. Being principal and all, but that's why you have staff and vice principal and those other losers.
