I don't know how, but these people in this house found a way to get me to make breakfast. I decided to extend my stay after Beyonce and I made up.. The first night back in this house definitely brought back memories.
She made me feel as loved as she could and as comfortable as she could and I could see that she was sticking to her word and progressing.
I heard what she said but I didn't think this was something she'd go through with.
We would have to have a long conversation about what's going to happen but I love that she's taking steps into the right direction.
I was swaying along to some neo soul record that I had playing. Giving birth changed so many things about me and I loved all the changes big and small.
I became more secluded than I was especially since it was just Brooklynn and I for some time.
I got used to it just being us and I didn't mind it either considering everything that was going on.
I missed my babies don't get me wrong but they stayed with Beyonce and I wasn't hurt by it surprisingly.
Grabbing plates I started to dish the food placing them on the table in the dining room. A room that I've used only a handful of times I wanted to be happy that this is what it's come to. That I had a family, my family. I couldn't though because I had doubts and I hated that.
No one was standing in between me and my happiness but myself.
I was waiting on the other shoe to drop and I know it will. I don't know who's shoe it's going to be because there's no telling with this family.
I want to be happy but I wasn't allowing myself to be. Deciding not to yell I texted everyone in the family group and told them to come down for breakfast.
The first person down was my munchkin, she came right to me and I kissed her head. "Hi mommy."
"Hi munchkin, you wanna tell me why you're running away from your girlfriend and home now or later?" Her eyes widened with surprise at my very blunt statement.
"Woah ma, not the best way to start the morning you know, but I'll fill you in later." I nodded and laughed.
"No rush honey, come to me when you're ready and you know you can stay with me as long as you like." She nodded and sat at the table.
I went upstairs and butterfly walked straight past me. I stopped in my tracks and stood there for a second then I felt a kiss on my cheek.
