Special Chapter: Haze and Hermoine

I have never seen her so happy before.

She smiled at me when she noticed that I was looking at both of them.

"Papa!" Haze said.

Our one year old child stood up and tried to walk towards me, I was on the doorframe of his room, I was about to meet him halfway but Italy shook her head and told me to wait for him.

Haze's step were unstable but he retains it and tries to walk more.

Nang makarating ito sa akin ay pumalakpak ang mama niya, Haze raised both of his arms towards me, I carried him and kissed his cheek, he giggled.

"Papa home!"

"Yes, Papa's home"

"Papa tiyed?" he asked.

"I'm fine, buddy"

He pouted and hugged me.

"Mama, Papa tiyed!" sumbong nito.

"Did you overwork yourself again?" Italy scolded me.

I smiled at her and shook my head.

"I'm fine, come on, let's eat dinner"

We all head down to eat in the dining, Haze was telling me what they did the whole day in his baby talk.

I helped him in his shower.

"Papa busy tomoyow?"

"Yes buddy"

"Oh" he looked away.

"What is it?"

He pouted, I wore him his pajamas and tucked him into bed, Italy is doing the dishes downstairs.

"Mama beytday"

I smiled at him.

"Papa has plans, don't worry, okay?"

He smiled and nodded.

"Papa"

"Yes buddy?"

"Tito Leonayd okay?"

Leonard hasn't been fine lately, kahit si Haze ay napapansin iyon, he's very observant of his surroundings.

"Mm-hmm, he just have problems"

I tucked him into his bed, his mom came in and lay down beside him.

"Papa" ani Haze at saka tinapik ang kabilang side niya.

Nahiga ako roon, even though I haven't cleaned up yet.

Haze took my hand and put it on top of his tummy, ganoon rin ang ginawa niya sa kamay ni Italy, he put his hand in between mine and Italy's.

"Haze happy"

Italy smiled and kissed his cheek.

"My baby is happy?

"Mm-hmm, vewy happy"

I kissed the side of his head while gently patting his tummy, trying to put him to sleep.

I saw Italy making herself comfortable beside our son, Haze snuggled to her, I dimmed the lights so he could fall asleep.

"Let's sleep here" she whispered.

Tumango ako, once Haze was asleep, I went to our room to shower first, after that, I checked the doors and windows our house, I checked the cameras outside through the monitor in my office, before finally heading to Haze's room, I closed the door behind me.

As I get closer, I saw the both of them peacefully sleeping, I slowly went beside Haze and lay down, his bed was enough to fit the three of us.

I made myself comfortable beside my son and gently stroked his hair.
