"Anyway, why did you call?"

["Yung cake kasi, ang bobang Angela at siraulong Marco kinalimutan kunin sa bakeshop nung kinuha nila yung mga inorder na pizza, since lumabas ka pwede bang ikaw na kumuha?"]

"Yeah, okay, ako na ang kukuha sa bakeshop"

["Okay great, wala pa naman si Attorney kaya keri pa"]

"What if di siya pumasok? Sayang effort niyo"

["Beh, huling tawag niya dito sa opisina sasakay na siya ng eroplano pauwi"]

"Huh?"

["He went to Malaysia for a case, kagabi siya umalis tapos pabalik na siya ngayon"]

He went to Malaysia? Kaya pala maaga siyang umuwi kahapon, yes, nagpaalam siya na mag-a-undertime siya.

["And beh, wala naman daw siyang ibang pagkakaabalahan kundi trabaho niya, sa'yo pa nga niya sinabi iyon, hindi ba?"]

"Oo na, kukunin ko na yung cake, babush!"

I hung up and drove to the bakeshop.

"Do you think I'm just assuming things, baby? Is your daddy really not with someone else?" talking to my tummy.

I shook my head, I parked my car and took my purse, I went inside, I went to the counter.

"Hello, I'm just going get a cake that Angela Estrella ordered, its a one-tier matcha cake"

"Ah yes, we'll just put it in a box, Ma'am"

"How much is it?"

"599, Ma'am"

I paid for it and waited, after boxing it ay ibinigay na nila sa akin.

Its just a simple one-tier matcha cake, may kasama na rin itong candle, silver coated candle, I put the cake at the shotgun seat and my purse at the back and drkge back to the office.

I parked my car and went to the lift, holding the cake and my things.

Sa conference na ako dumiretso, naayos na nilang lahat iyon.

"Wait, we have one more thjng for you to do, last na" Marco said.
