Naiirita ako, of all the days ngayon pa maiisipan ni Marco na mangharana at manligaw kay Angela.

Sariwa pa sa akin ang mga nangyari kagabi and my heartaches with the last message he sent.

He was done. Tapos na ang paghahabol niya, I've already push him to his limits, titigilan niya na ako.

"You okay?"

I sharply looked at Marco, nginisihan niya ako.

"Bakit naman kasi ngayon pa?!"

"I want it to be extra special, its her birthday so, I want surprise her with a confession"

"Bahala ka, sana hindi ka niya sagutin"

Mas lalo lang naging nakakaloko ang ngisi ni Marco sa sinabi ko.

"Alam ko namang tutulungan mo ako, hindi mo pababayaan na mapunta sa iba si Angela ko"

I rolled my eyes at saka tumayo na.

"Pupunta na ako roon, bahala ka na dyan"

"Thank you!"

I went out of my office, sakto naman at kakarating lang ni Angela.

"Tara na sa conference"

"Conference? May sched kang meeting?" kaagad niyang binuksan anc iPad para tignan.

"Emergency meeting lang 'to, hindi siya nakalagay sa sched ko, tara na"

"Okay, here's your coffee, by the way"

"Hindi na, ayoko na magkape, sa'yo na lang o kaya ibigay mo kila Marky"

"Okay ka lang ba? Ang moody mo lately ah"

"I'm fine, please, tara na"

I held her elbow and pulled her to the lift, kakuntsaba rin ni Marco sila Marky, pati na rin sila Zeinn, kunwari ay may nag-collapse na building guru at si Marco ang engineer noon and so on.

We went to the conference room.

"Everyone's here" sambit ni Leonard.

Naupo na ako sa designated chair ko, I felt gaze at me.

"So, as you've heard, yung isang hotel sa Palawan ay nag-collapse and Marco is the engineer of it" Leonard said.

"Nasaan ba siya? Shouldn't he be here dahil siya ang engineer noon?" I asked, naiirita.

"He'll be here, ang sabi niya start without him"

"We can't start without him, he is the head engineer of that project, lagi na lang wala kapag kailangan"

"Miss CEO, you seem irritable" puna ni Zeinn sa akin.

"I already had a long night and day, pagod at puyat ako, ever since I sat in this position puro problema ang dumarating sa akin instead of f*cking good news"

Natahimik silang lahat.

Bumukas ang pinto, Marco's show started.

Nanghina ang tuhod ko sa narinig.

Everyone gathered around Marco, it was a plan, I still tried my best not to forget why I am here.

"Angela..." Marco said.
