------------------------------

A week had passed since the invasion, though nothing really got easier for the growing family.

Mikey sat on a chair in the medical bay, holding out his arm, as Carol changed the bandages.

With his other hand, Mikey had a small, five pound weight, which the woman had explained was for physical therapy.

"You're doing great. And it'll get better with time, baby."

"Yeah-!" Mikey smiled happily.

____________

Donnie looked up from his book, his eyes widened as his mind and vision got all fuzzy.

Carol looked over as Donnie began to sway. She quickly ran over "Woah- Donnie!"

The softshell jerked backwards, his teeth clenching as he fell. Carol caught him before he could hit the floor.

She sat down with her legs crossed, moving Donnie so that he was laying on the floor, his head in the woman's lab as he shook.

Carol sighed softly and removed Donnie's goggles. "That's it baby... Ride it out. It's almost over.."

______

A few moments passed, and Donnie had finished the worst of his seizure. He sighed, but didn't even bother to move. "I could probably get up now, you know."

"I know, hon. We'll do that in a bit."

April walked over, draping Donnie's weighted blanket over him. "No point in arguing with her, Dee. Trust me." She gave a small smile at him, before walking off.

Donnie grumbled in slight annoyance, but stoped from supprise as Carol began to gently scratch at his head. He closed his eyes and churred quietly.

___________

Raph was half asleep as he sat in a chair next to Leo. He swayed slightly.

"Raph? Sweetie? It's time to trade."

When Carol didn't get a response, she frowned and gently rubbed Raph's shell.

"Raph?"

She gasped and quickly pulled her hand away as Raph snapped at her, letting out a loud, animalistic hiss.
