Leo grumbled as he turned his head, stirring awake.
"Oh- He's coming around!"
"Good, good." Carol hummed and sat in a chair beside the hospital bed. "Leo, sweetie?"
"Mmmmmmhmm...?"
"Do you want some ice chips, baby?"
"Mhm..."
Carol took a spoon of the snacks and carefully fed them to the waking turtle. "Slowly, now..."
Draxum sighed softly and headed to the door, looking back. "I'll go let the boys know he's awake."
"Alright."
Carol smiled and set the bowl down. "You wanna see your brothers, baby?" She asked softly.
Leo smiled and chuckled lazily, waving his hands in front of himself. "Yeahhhhhhhh, I love those guys..."
Carol nodded a bit. "They love you too."
Leo's eyes instantly filled with tears, as he looked up at her. "They do?!"
Suddenly, the door loudly slammed open, Donnie standing there looking both worried and a tad pissed. "I am here to check the integrity of the surgery-"
"Donnnnniiieeeee~" Leo sleepily smiled at his Donatello. "Mom says you love me!"
"Wha-?" Donnie sighed, pulling his goggles over his eyes in order to scan Leo's leg for any issues with the surgery.
Mikey smiled and hugged Leo firmly, yet carefully, Raph doing the same soon after. "Aww, Leo! Of course we love you!"
Donnie looked over at the Yokai surgeon. "This... Actually looks decent. Color me impressed, weasel."
Margo smiled and waved him off. "Of course! Call me next time one of you needs to be cut open, that was fun!"
The softshell glared at this. "There will not be a next time."
Leo smiled devilishly, reaching out towards his twin as he made grabby hands. "Donnnnnie, don, don c'mon c'mon. C'mon Donnie. DONNIE-"
Said turtle frowned and walked over. "Yes, yes, fine. I'm right here." Donnie huffed out as he gently held Leo's hand.
"And you love me?"
"Yes, you dumb dumb. I love you. Now get some rest."
