That morning Hermione and I were both sitting on my bed, looking down at our feet as the sunlight poured in through the open window of our room.
"Hannah, what happened?" Hermione asked me quietly.
I let out a deep breath.
"I saw the dream again and... Hermione, please don't tell Harry this, but I heard a voice saying that it needed me and Harry there on the night." I said to her.
She looked so shocked.
"Hannah, you're deliberately putting yourself in so much danger, you know that, right?"
I nodded back.
"Yes, I know." I replied. "But this is for Harry and Cedric. Something really bad is going to happen on the night, Hermione. I can feel it. These dreams are not just random nightmares that repeat themselves. They're warnings."
"I can see that." Hermione murmured beside me.
There was a pause until Hermione got up to her feet.
"We should probably get dressed. Thank God it's Sunday, don't you think Hannah?" She said.
I nodded back again and got out of bed.
"I have to tell Cedric about this, and I have to tell Harry about the new dream." I muttered.
It was a much warmer morning compared to the morning we had yesterday, so I decided to wear something better for a normal bright sunny day. I looked into my trunk at all my clothes and got changed after picking an outfit.
I headed out, getting a compliment from Hermione as we walked through the girls' dorm door and into the Gryffindor common room. I met Harry there.
"Hi, Harry." I smiled brightly.
Maybe I should start this conversation easily so Harry wouldn't be too stressed. Harry smiled back.
"Hey Hannah."
"Listen, I have to tell you something... about last night." I said to him calmly.
He looked back at me expectantly. I felt a bit uneasy.
"Let's just go out first..." I trailed off, leading him out the door.
I gave Ron and Ginny a hug and we all walked outside.
We all sat at the tables, but I sat next to Harry with Ron on the other side. Ginny and Hermione sat opposite us.
"I had another dream." I said to all of them.
Hermione and Harry especially, listening in very carefully. Ginny and Ron looked confused. I gave Harry a sideways glance and looked back away.
"It was again about the third task. It was basically similar to the one before... but scarier."
I looked at Harry.
"Harry I heard you screaming." I said to him quietly and sadly.
Harry looked scared.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled, looking away. "This task is going to be really dangerous. I have to tell Cedric."
Without another word, I got up out of my chair and walked off before Harry could grab my arm and pull me back to stay with him.
I walked up to Cedric. He spun around and smiled happily as he saw me, but I didn't smile back.
"Cedric, I have to talk to you." I said to him quietly.
I took him by the arm and we walked to a place where not many people were around.
"I'm going to be in the third task with you and Harry-DON'T SCREAM!" I squealed, putting my hand up to stop Cedric from saying anything.
Cedric looked at me like I was mad.
"Look, let me explain!" I said desperately. "Something's really wrong, and I'm just going to be there with you guys-not as a champion-just with you and Harry so I can make sure you guys will be safe and OK." I said to him.
"Us? It's more like the other way around, Hannah!" Cedric said to me, stunned.
I rolled my eyes.
"I had a dream about this. I've had two. I had one last night, that made me cry so hard about you and Harry. I know that the third task will be more dangerous than you think it will be. I've already sorted things out with Dumbledore, and he's said I can come." I said to him clearly.
He sighed.
"Fine, but you can't walk away from us." He said to me firmly.
I giggled.
"Wow, that's kind of what Harry said." I smiled.
Cedric smiled back weakly.
"What happened in the dream, Hannah?"
I paused for a second, then sighed.
"You have the right to know- you were in it. I was in the place where the third task was being held. And I heard Harry screaming, then I turned around and I saw you being thrown back by a really powerful spell. I'm sorry." I said to him when I saw his terrified face. "But none of that's going to happen!" I started again. "I'm going to be there with you, and make sure that it will NOT happen."
