I sat with Harry and Neville near the lake as Neville carried on and on about how amazing one of his flowers were.

"Amazing! Amazing!" Neville said as he beamed at the plant in his hands.

I rolled my eyes and leaned back against a tree beside Harry.

"Neville, you're doing it again." Harry said, annoyed.

"Oh, sorry." Neville muttered back, putting the plant back down.

Then he looked up and waved at someone behind us. Harry and I turned around to see Ginny, Hermione and Ron walking up to us. Ron was whispering something in Hermione's ear. 

"Do it yourself!" Hermione hissed back at him. "Ugh!" She walked up to Harry and me nervously.

"Ronald would like me to tell you, that Seamus told him, that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid's looking for you." She said with an effort.

"What?" Harry said, looking really confused.

Hermione went back to Ron, looking very uncomfortable. 

"Ron!" She hissed at him again, but he once again sent her back to Harry.

Ginny stood quietly in the background. She gave me a small smile. I returned it quietly and looked back at Hermione. 

"Dean was told by Parvati...please don't ask me to say it again, Harry. Hagrid's looking for you." Hermione finished, and turned around.

"Well you can tell Ronald-"

"I'M NOT AN OWL!" Hermione shot back, spinning around and glaring at Harry angrily, interrupting his sentence.

She turned back around, ignoring Ron and took Ginny by the arm, walking away. Ron followed them quietly. I slowly walked up to Harry. 

"I guess you'd better go find Hagrid, Harry. Want me to come with you?" I asked him. 

"Thanks but, I reckon it's safer here for you. Who knows what Hagrid's going to show me? Might be something dangerous." Harry said kindly, but he still looked hurt.

"Don't worry, Harry. Ron will get over it someday." I giggled.

Harry smiled back, and set off to find Hagrid. I stayed with Neville for a while, and then went near the castle to find Luna. I hung out with her for a bit, reading the Quibbler and laughing about some weird jokes she told me. I barely got them, but Luna was my friend, so I went along with it.

I finally said goodbye to her and went to say hello to Cedric. He greeted me happily.

"Congratulations, Cedric!" I said happily, giving him a hug.

He hugged me back. He was so tall, he had to bent down to hug me properly. He tells me that I'm like a little sister to him.

"Be safe in the tournament, alright?" I said quietly, feeling scared for him. 

He smiled back to me.

"Don't worry, Hannah. I've got you, haven't I?" He said.

I laughed back. I gave him a second hug and said goodbye, running back to the Gryffindor common room. After I got changed, I ran out of the common room and out of the castle again to go and find somebody that I knew so I can hang out with them. I ran into Hermione and Ginny.

"Hey guys." I smiled at them.

It was kind of awkward. Thank goodness Ron wasn't here! I wouldn't know what I would've said to him.

"What's...up?" I couldn't think of anything else to say.

Hermione sighed, and Ginny laughed a bit.

"Don't worry, Hannah. What happened before was just between Ron and Harry. Ron just dragged Hermione in the middle, which means you and I are included too." Ginny said, sadly.

"Why is Ron upset anyway?" I asked them. "Does he think now that Harry's in the tournament, he'd forget about him?"

Hermione scoffed.

"Hopefully not!"

"I really don't want Ron to be so upset, but... He started it." I said quietly, barely letting Hermione and Ginny hear.

Ginny laughed.

"You two are like real brothers and sisters."

"You are his sister, Ginny." I said to her, smiling.

"Yeah, and what a pain that is." Ginny said, laughing.

I laughed back.

"But he's a really good brother." Ginny said in the end.

Just then I saw Ron and Seamus coming out of the castle, and Harry walked up to them. 

"You're a right foul git you know that?" Harry said to Ron furiously. 

I was so shocked.

"You think so?" Ron said.

"I know so!" Harry replied.

"Anything else?" Ron asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah...stay away from me!" Harry shot back. 

"FINE." Ron said steely and walked past Harry with Seamus following him.

I turned back to Hermione and Ginny to see if they'd seen any of that. They seemed like they had heard it too, because they looked as shocked as I was. Then I saw Draco Malfoy come up to Harry with his two 'body guards' Crabbe and Goyle.

"Why so tense, Potter?" Draco asked mockingly. "My father and I have a bet you see. I don't think you're going to last 10 mintues in this tournament."

Harry stopped in his tracks and turned to Draco.

"He disagrees." Draco said simply. "He doesn't think you going to last five!"

"I don't give a DAMN what your father thinks, Malfoy!" Harry shot back really angrily, hitting Draco in the chest. "He's vile and cruel. And you're pathetic." He turned around and started to walk away.

"Pathetic?!" Draco said angrily, taking out his wand furiously.

I ran up to Harry yelling

"Harry!"

I grabbed him by the arm and pulled him away just as the Expelliarmus spell missed Harry. I looked over at Draco who looked stunned to see me.

"Thank you." Harry mumbled to me as he got back up to his feet. 

"It's alright." I whispered back, not taking my eyes off Malfoy.

"Dragons, Hannah, that's the first task." Harry whispered back to me quickly, his hand on my upper arm.

I looked at him, petrified.

"Potter!" A gruff voice said.

We all turned around to see Professor Moody. He limped up to us and took Harry by the arm.

"Come with me."

He took Harry away back into the castle. I was left alone with Draco. He and I looked at each other at the same time, speechlessly. I let out a deep sigh. I honestly didn't know what to say. Why was this happening to me?! Don't I usually hate Malfoy? 

"Bye." I said quietly.

"Goodbye, Hannah." Draco replied.

I stopped in my tracks. 

"Did you just call me Hannah?" I asked, turning around.

"That's your name, isn't it?" Draco said, raising his eyebrows. "See you." He walked away.

"Bye." I said quietly, and ran back.
