Chapter 6

The next day I decided to spend the day to myself without anybody telling me what to do and telling me what not to do.
I was up in my room reading when my phone went off and I looked to see who it was. Kathryn.
She had asked my if she could come over but I jest told her maybe later and thankfully she only said ok.
I didn't want anybody being worried about me.
I found it very annoying.
And then my phone went off again.
I looked at it.

Mom: hey honey your father and I have decided that you and your sister and Kathryn should all go camping while me and your father go on our anniversary trip.
Me: oh..that's cool. When are we going ?
Mom: the week before our anniversary .
Me: why a week?
Mom: because we're leaving early and then were gunna come back on our anniversary.
Me:why ?
Mom: because your aunt and uncle want to take us all out to eat for dinner.
Me: ok. Well thx for telling me.

I turned my phone off and laid back on my bed.
Great...now I get to be with the ones that have complete opposite opinions for me.
Kathryn likes Darin but Marilyn doesn't.
Now all I need is for mom and dad to get in on this action.

Chapter 7( part2)

Later after having my alone time I decided that I would let Kathryn come over.
We went out to the sun room and laid in the hammocks.
"So you excited to go camping ?"she asked .
"Yeah I guess. I guess this could be a good experience ." I said.
"There you go !" She said smiling reached across the hammock and punched my shoulder .
"Ow..." I said chuckling rubbing my shoulder .
" what is there to be afraid of ?" She asked.
I was quiet for a minute.
"I don't know in jest that kind of kind of person that is worried ." I said.
" this should be good for you. You know to get your mind off of everything." She said.
I nodded.
Ever sense I had started talking to Darin my nerves have been jumpy and worried.
I didn't know how I was going to get over my nerves.
I loved Darin. But a side of me that I felt like I couldn't control was so worried about my safety.
I wanted to talk to Darin all the time but I hated the feeling of my worried side taking over.
"So what are we going to do while we're camping ?" I asked.
"Oh..umm...I guess do regular camping stuff. Like roast marshmallows and go swimming and all that fun stuff." She said happily.
I nodded.
"Oh my gosh! We're gunna have so much fun!" She said squealing.
I laughed.
"You need this more than anything ." She said putting her hand on my shoulder .
I nodded.
"I love being outdoors." She said.
"Me to." I said.
" oh and we can even go tubing! There's a river along side the camp ground!" She said.
Jest then my phone buzzed and I looked to see who it was.

Darin: hey what's up?
Me: not much. In gunna go camping next week.
Darin: oh that's cool. Where are yall going ?
Me: I don't know yet..
Darin: oh ok. Have you ever been?
Me: no.
Darin: oh it's great you'll love it.
Me: what makes you say that ?
Darin: I jest know . It will be a memory to remember forever.
Me: sounds like I will have fun .
Darin: yep.
Me: will I'll let you go. I'm going to have to start packing . I'll talk to you later.
Darin: ok bye.

I turned my phone off and laid back in the hammock and let out a sigh.
" I'm so excited ! I can't wait." She said as she laid back and closed her eyes.
Kathryn has gone camping plenty of times. So why is she so excited to go camping with ME ?
