Chapter 16

Darin had asked me a few more stupid questions and had threatened to shoot me a few more times if I didn't keep my mouth shut.
We were still in the basement.
"What do you plan to do with me anyways?" I asked him angry.
"Don't you know anything ?!" He yelled getting close to my face leaving only an inch of space between our faces .
"What?!-what is it ?! What is it that you said you were going to do to me ?!"
I said back angry and not afraid.
He then got angry and pulled out his gun AGAIN and pointed it at my face .
I was sick of all of his stupid games.
"Do it!- I SO DARE YOU TO DO IT!!!
I SCREAMED at him.
He then hit me in the side of the face with the gun.
I felt it cut across me face .
" still with your games huh?"I said looking down.
"Don't test me ."he said still pointing the gun at me .
I grinned still looking down.
I jerked my head up and screamed "DO IT !!!!! I-DARE-YOU!!!"
*BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG !!!*
I felt my ears ring and My body was shaking .
I felt my arm sting .
I slowly looked to the side. He had shot the bullet next to me again but this time bullet just barely missed my shoulder. It had taken a a big chunk out of the side of my arm. Just above my elbow.
I whined a little.
I dropped my head.
"ow." I whispered feeling an tear hanging in my eye.
I wanted to put my hand over the shot wound to make the blood stop from flowing.
I looked down at the ground.
The blood had started to pore down onto the floor.
I could feel the blood running out of my arm.
I looked up at Darin who was staring at me arm.
I felt the tear stream down onto my cheek and drip into my lap.
"It hurts." I said barely below a whisper .
" good." He said leaning against the wall beside him.
I dropped my head again letting more salty tears role down my cheek.
I slightly looked at Darin with tearful eyes.
He looked away.
Soon after a little while the blood had clotted and stopped bleeding .
But there was a lot of blood that was running down my arm and onto the floor next to me .
I felt light headed and dizzy .
How much blood have I lost ?
I feel terrible.
Darin had been in and out of the room. And from time to time he would sit down at the bottom step and watch me.
He must have found my pain funny and entertaining because he hasn't done anything about it .
I guess he's jest going to let me bleed out until I die.
Great plan.
He really has his crap together .
He was sitting down at the step with the gun in his hand with the side of it on his cheek while he was thinking.
I wished that he would accidentally pull the trigger and shoot himself in the face.
But he didn't .
I hung my head again. Thinking .
Thinking about if my family was looking for me . Wondering if they knew that I was gone.
Jest then Darin came from another room and had a cup in his hand.
He came twords me .
" here drink this.." He said holding the cup to my face.
I turned my head. " no."
He rolled his eyes and sighed.
" it's pain killer mixed with grape juice." He said.
I looked at him for a second.
I leaned over and sniffed the "grape juice" and smelled for anything suspicious .
" look do you want the pain to go away?" He asked annoyed .
I looked at the liquid again for a second .
I nodded .
"Ok." He said putting the cup to my lips .
I tilted my head back and swallowed the juice .
I didn't realize it but I was so thirsty.
I hadn't had anything to drink in days.
I drank it all.
Once I was done he stepped back and set the cup down .
Later after about fourth five minutes I was really tired for some reason I couldn't stop yawning and my eyes would close randy and I would go to sleep for a few minutes and wake up.
Jest then I saw Darin come into the room and he squatted in front of me .
My eye lids felt heavy . I could barely look at him .
"There you go ." He said patting my head.
"W-what?" I said weakly and tired.
" knock out juice." He said grinning.
"What?!"I said with what little energy I had left.
"It's ok." He said.
How could I have been so stupid ?!
I should have known that he put something in that drink !
"Now go to sleep." He said softly.
My vision got fuzzy and Darin's voice became an echo .
"Go..to..sleep."
And then everything went black.
