Chapter 25

Darin had explained the whole concept to me agin. This was way to much for me to handle!!!
"You have to understand that they are NOT gunna be happy to see you alive.
They will be happy to see that I have given them a chance to kill you themselves. " he said.
I still couldn't take all of this in.
"So there going to be here in a few hours and you have to be ready to hide..because If you don't they will freeking tare you to PEICES. Shoot you to bits." He said.
"Well what am I suposto do about it??" I asked.
"Do me a favor and just stay alive...please." He said.
I chewed the inside of my cheek thinking about what he had said in the past twenty minutes.
"Ok-ok..I can do that." I said nodding.
"Ok that's a start..now when they get here..they won't be alone..they have other people coming with them for backup." He said.
"Like who?" I Asked.
"Not friendly people." He said.
I put my hands on hips.
"Give me a gun." I said.
"What? No." He said like I was crazy.
"I have to have some way to protect myself." I said.
He rolled his eyes and handed me the gun from his belt.
I cocked it and stuck it in my back pocket.
"Ok so what can I do?" I asked.
"Stay alive and stay out of the way." He said like it was pretty self exclamatory.
"You can't take all of them yourself." I said Almost laughing.
"Yeah but I have to deal with her because you can't take her." He said.
"Yeah and she's also my sister."
I said.
"So she's my problem." I said.
"Yeah and if you die its your blood on my hands." He said.
"So?!!" I said back.
"And that's how she wants it to be." He said.
"Than lets give it to her." I said.
He looked at me like I had two heads.
"Are you freaking crazy??" He said.
"If I wasn't this would never work."I said raising both of my eyebrows.
"Do you even hear yourself??" He asked.
"We're sisters. It's like we're the same person....and by me saying let her kill me I'm saying I'm gunna kill her." I said.
He rolled his eyes. "That doesn't even make sense."
"It makes more sense than you hiding me away and trying to be a hero and take them on yourself. " I said.
"Well it's better me being killed than you." He said.
"I'm already half dead." I chuckled.
He cocked his head.
"You shot me!" I said.
He sighed and put his hand on his face.
"Ok come on let's just get ready." I said.
He nodded.
"Hey can you go get some ammo from the chest out side from the back screen porch?" Darin Asked.
"Yeah." I said.
I walked across the living room and to the back porch.
I opened the door and then I came face to face with Marilyn holding a gun to my face.
