Later I had decided to go and sit on the front porch and wait for Darin to come back .
I had found, to kill a mockingbird on one of his book selfs."
I had made it to chapter twelve when he came driving down the driveway.
He had an black Cadillac Escalade truck. It was nice .
As he turned the truck off I could see him through the the windshield looking at me.
I smiled.
He smiled back.
Before he got out he reached over to the passenger seat and picked up and chick-fil-a bag. FOOD.
He got out and closed the door.
I stood up and went to the porch railing in front of me .
"Hey." I said .
"Hey." He said back.
"Thanks for not locking the door." I said.
"Your welcome." He said as he walked up the porch stairs.
I opened the screen door for him and followed him inside.
We walked into the kitchen and I sat at the bar .
"Oh my god. That smells so good." I said staring at the bag .
He chuckled and handed me a bag.
The chicken smelled so good.
He looked at my arm.
"You took your bandage off." He said.
"Yep." I said stuffing my mouth with chicken.
" I can get you some more." He said .
My mind trailed back to the drugs in the cabinet.
"Yeah. That would be good ." I said .
He nodded.
"So what did you do while I was out?" He asked.
"I just took a shower-and I got "to kill a mockingbird." Off of your shelf and went out on the porch and waited for you to come back with the food." I said cramming fries in my mouth.
"Oh." He said .
I nodded.
"We'll let me get some more bandages for you." He said walking into another room.
A few minutes later he came back with an role of bandages and a bottle of alcohol.
He walked over to me and pored some alcohol on the bandage and he gently wrapped the bandage around my arm.
The alcohol stung .
I tensed up.
Then he tucked the end of it back with the rest.
"There." He said .
"Thanks." I said looking at my arm.
He walked over to the other side of the counter and sat down on a high stool.
He looked at me for a second .
"What?" I said .
He shrugged and looked away.
He looks like he had something bugging him.
"what's up." I asked.
"Huh?-nothing." He said.
I continued to look at him.
" how did figure out where I lived ?" I asked.
He looked at me alert.
He slightly chuckled almost embarrassed.
"Well...lets just say some things arent meant to be said." He shrugged.
I sighed ." Yes but some things are meant to be said."
He looked at me slightly smiling with stubbornness.
"Luckily right now isn't one of those times." He sarcastically smiled with a smirk.
I looked at him like I hated him....even though I didn't.
"What?!"he laughed.
"You know what!" I said.
"No! I don't!-why don't you tell me!" He said back smirking.
"Oh my god you are so annoying!" I said trying to sound angry but instead it sounded like I was choking on my words from laughing.
He pointed at me and threw his head back laughing.
I looked at him serious and crossed my arms.
He looked back at me and did an serious face mimicking me.
I felt me lips crack into a smile.
"Stop it!" I said trying to keep an serious face but failed.
"Oh my god! You couldn't keep an serious face to save your life!" He laughed .
"Oh shut up! Yeah cuz you would kill me!" I said back.
He quickly stopped laughing and looked at me in shock.
"That's not nice." He said jokingly hurt by what I said.
I crossed my arms and smirked.
"You find my pain funny ?" He asked .
" I find everybody's pain funny but my own." I said.
"Pff-haha!!" He Said historically laughing.
I rolled my eyes.
"Come on that's funny." He said leaning against the counter.
"Not really." I said.
He looked at me with an soft expression.
" so I'm here to amuse you and you keep me trapped here and keep secrets from me."
He looked at me with an slight smile but straight face.
