Chapter 7

The next morning me and Marylyn started packing .
We were in her room packing together as we disgusted what we were going to do while we were camping .
" so tubing and biking and swimming?" I clarified.
"Yes and maybe a little shopping when it's raining or something." She said.
I nodded. "Ok"
"So you excited to go camping for your first time?" She asked .
"Eh..sure I guess." I Said unsure.
"Don't worry about it. were gunna have fun and I'm gunna make sure that we do so don't worry about it ." She said smiling.
I nodded again.
"You don't seemed so convinced." She said .
I shrugged. "Well I can't be so excited ether."
She stopped what she was doing and looked at me. "Is this about Darin?"
I looked up at her and slowly and slightly nodded.
She let out a sigh of pity and came to me.
"What's wrong ?" She asked.
"I don't know. I hate my nerves. They take over all of my happiness." I said frustrated.
"Aw..honey..come on you have nothing to be afraid of." She said confidently.
"Yeah?" I said hopefully.
"Of chores ! What have you got to loose?!" She said trying to encourage me.
"-you know what ?...your right! I've got nothing to be afraid of ! And I'm not going to let my nerves get in the way." I said confidently.
"There you go!" She said.
"And I'm going to have a great time!" I said .
"That's my girl!" Marylyn said coming in to hug me.
I hugged her tight .
"Thank you." I said.
"Your welcome...your welcome." She said patting my back.

Chapter 7(part2)
Later that day I invited Kathryn over and we were out in the hammocks again and I was telling her about what we were going to do while we were out camping.
"Well I'm glad you and Marilyn straightened out your fear of your nerves getting in the way ." She said.
I chuckled in agreement.
"Yeah me to." I said.
Jest then Marilyn came out with three glasses of lemonade . She handed one to me and one to Kathryn and one for herself .
She sat in the chair across from us.
"So...what's up?..what we talken about?" She said smiling.
"How she got over her nerves." Kathryn said.
Marilyn nodded and took a sip of her drink.
" I can't believe that were going camping for a week." I said chuckling.
"Oh come on it won't be that bad." Marilyn said.
"Oh! I-I don't think I'll survive!" I said dramatically throwing my hand on my forehead .
Marilyn and Kathryn laughed.
" I can believe that !" Kathryn said laughing.
"Oh right because you know that I'll get eaten by a bear." I said throwing my head to the side looking at her with my mouth hanging open.
She gave me a nasty sarcastic grin.
I laughed .
"Well then it will have to get past me first ." Marilyn said chuckling.
"Oh yes...we all know you can take a bear bare handed." Kathryn said elbowing me in the ribs.
"Ha! Get it ?!" She said.
I looked at Marilyn laughing.
"Nawwwww...I don't ..why don't you tell me." Marilyn said sarcastically putting her elbow on her knee and putting her chin on her fist
"Cuz we're talking about a bear..and she takes him bare handed?!" Kathryn said letting out an snort .
"Ha! That's a knee slapper!" She said slapping her knee.
I laughed at her lame joke. "Right...and I would have NEVER figured it out if you hadn't told me ."
Marilyn said sarcastically hanging her arm off of the chair.
I laughed.
Maybe there right....there's nothing to be afraid of...and I know this for a fact and I'm not going to let my nerves get in the way.
