Two days later....
"Ugh! Finally we get to go home!" I said jumping up into The front seat of the truck .
"Yeah. I smell like smoke." Kathryn said.
I chuckled.
"Don't we all?" I said looking back at her.
She raised her eye brow.
I giggled and turned back around.
After we had gotten on the road we stopped to get something to eat at an McDonald's .
I had gotten an cheese burger with everything on it and large fries.
At that point I didn't care how bad the food was for me I was starving and I had been eating nothing but oatmeal, hotdogs and s'more for a week.
I practically inhaled my food.
The burger was SO good.
After that I got an LARGE chocolate milkshake which I so knew was healthy for me. Not really. The When we had gotten at least two hours into the drive I decided to text Darin.
Me:hey Darin! I survived !
Darin: haha! I knew you would.
Me: lol. Sure you did.
Darin: why wouldn't I ?
Me: idk.
Darin: where are you now?
Me: in tin buck too.
Darin: XD LOL...but really where are you ?
Me: uh..I don't know..but we're close to home..I think.
Darin: that's cool. Well thanks for letting me know that you didn't die! Lol
Me: haha. Funny. I'll text you when I get home. Ttyl.
Darin: bye.
I had fallen asleep and when we got home it was as hot as the Sahara desert in the summer.
When we were about to start unpacking I was sweating before I even lifted a finger.
"God! Why's it so hot today?" I said .
"I don't know." Marilyn said handing me my bag.
I went inside and to feel Ac on my face felt so good.
"Ugh! So good to be home!" I said out loud as I flopped onto the couch.
"There's still more stuff ." Kathryn said setting her stuff down.
"I know..but...I jest wAnt to enjoy the moment." I said with my eyes closed and relaxed.
She then came over and laid on her back practically on top of me .
I grounded .
"Get off." I chuckled.
Jest then Marilyn came into the room and then looked at us and shrugged and topped off the dog pile .
"Agh!!" I yelled.
"Shhhh!-sh!..sh.." Kathryn said putting her finger to her lips And her eyes half closed.
" don't-don't ruin the moment-" she mimicked .
I let out a sigh and jest laid there and soon my eyes got heavy and I fell asleep again.
Chapter 11(part2)
Later I woke up and I was still on the couch . But Marilyn and Kathryn weren't on top of me anymore but we're sitting at the bar talking to mom and dad.
I slowly got up and went over to them.
"Oh hi sweetheart!" My mom said hugging me.
"Hey" I said back.
"When did you guys get here?" I asked yawning .
" a while ago..." My dad said leaning over and kissed my head .
"You seem to be tired...why don't you go to bed." He said.
I looked at the clock. 8:22pm
I nodded slowly and went up to my room.
I didn't know why I was so tired.
I closed my door behind me and jest then my legs felt like noodles and I jest collapsed on top of my bed.
I didn't care that I was still in my clothes I jest wanted to sleep. But the thought came to me....
why AM I so tired?
