Cley's POV

"Sica, where the heck are you?" I whispered as my tension intensified. There is something not good happening and I am hating it.

"Matagal pa ba sila? O baka pwedeng mauna na lang tayong kumain." Quirt said while tapping the spoon on the plate.

"No response from them yet? Cley?" Zace asked.

"Uhh.. The last message I received is they are stuck in a traffic"

"let's give them 5 minutes then let's eat." Zace said.

It's odd. It's unusual that she's not answering my calls. I've been calling her more than 10 times now but she's not answering. She never misses any call from me unless if she's studying and fell asleep or else her phone is off but now, she obviously ignoring it like what the heck this felt so bad. It's my brother who is with her but still I don't trust him.

Ayokong makita nilang natetense ako but shit, parang puputok na ata ang dibdib ko sa kaba.

"Oh there they are!"

The moment I heard the car engine approaching, tumayo agad ako at sinilip sila sa bintana. I bit my lip and I just can't stand seeing them together. I tried to calm down myself and painted a smile as she get inside.

"Sorry. You guys hungry?" pag-aalala niya.

"Yeah, HANGRY" Biro ni Quirt.

"Sorry Kai Sotto ha, baka lumiit ka bigla di ka makakain" she joked back.

"Hahaha tologo huh. Talagang mag aambagan kayong dalawa ni Arsen nang height sakin"

"Hi" nakipagbeso ako sa kanya and hugged her. "It's okay kakatapos lang ni mama magluto"

"Nadaanan nyo yung posteng natamaan nang kidlat kanina?" tanong ng sidechick ni Arsen na si Gelo. Oo andito na naman siya.

"Yep, the main reason why we pulled over a bit. Sica is kinda afraid of the thunder" I look straight to Sica to wait for an approval that what he is saying is true.

"Didn't you tell you have fear of thunder" sabi ko.

She lamely smiled as if she's ashamed of it.

"Oo eh, we even witnessed it nong pag striked sa poste. Parang nakakatakot lang na ikaw matamaan non. Just not a good way to die." she explained.

"Oh sha! Oh sha! Please maawa kayo sa kumakalam kong tiyan at kumain na tayo!"

That's just a sort of a new in formation I knew from Sica but shit that fucking coincidence how the Arsen is the first one to know. Uuhhh! I'm thinking non sense. It should not matter then. It should not! As a matter of fact, di naman araw araw may kidlat para naman ma experience namin yun na kami magkasama. I should just stay on my sanity.

"How are you feeling? Are you okay? Talaga bang takot ka sa kidlat?" I whispered to her.

"Hehe.. Sobra... Alam mo ba natameme ako nong biglang may malakas na putok at ilaw dun sa poste? Sobrang nanginig ang tuhod ko. It's just horrible how people die in that way di ba?"

"I see. You didn't tell me that."

"Naku, it's just that it's been awhile lang last time ko na experience. Siguro high school pa ako. Gabing gabi naglaba ako ng uniform nang bigla na lang umilaw yung langit tapos sumunod ang sobrang lakas na kulog. Hayun absent walang nasuot na uniform ahaha. Bilis ko nakatakbo nun alam hahaha"

"Hahaha kaya pala." I took a short smirk on Arsen kasi nakatitig na naman siya kay Sica.
