I sat at the kitchen counter picking at my breakfast; I needed more books to read. Mom had called and said the piano and cello were supposed to come today. I was a bit eager to have my babies around. The doorbell rung and I ran to it hoping it was the men with my instrument a space had been cleared for them. Maria was in front of me with a covered dish in her hand.

"Come on in." I pulled her in and closed the door. She looked nervous I thought she got over this when I defended her at school. She looked at me shock, well my appearance I guess she didn't expect me to look much different outside school and I gave her a small smile. My eyes caught the dish she held in her hand.

"Oh my brother told us that your mother had left for a few days...so my mother thought that maybe you might be hungry and we prepared you a little something seeing as your hypoglycemic and I researched it. I mean if you don't want it I could always take it back and bring you something later. I also wanted to thank you for defending me at school even though you don't really know me and my friends but if you want you can join us we have room for one more." She babbled. I took the dish and sat. It was filled with pancake and bacon. She actually in a weird way asked me to ask to be her friend well I think it was. She did invite me to be a misfit with her friends.

"Thanks, I appreciate the gesture. So what do you and your friends do on weekends?" Maybe always being alone isn't always the best and I told Daniel I would try to make it work at Seattle.

"Well we help each other with home work and stuff. Like I'm not good at math but Beth is and she helps out. They usually come over my house, but today Andre is having all his friends over. So we have to go somewhere else." She said as I slowly ate, maybe they could come over here it would be a nice gesture and maybe they wouldn't be so terrified of my presence.

"You could have it here." I said at last eating the last of the food that she brought.

"I wouldn't want to impose on you." She looked at me to see if I was being sincere.

"You can come over, you could help me out too." I looked at her, hoping she would say yes.

"Thanks so much I'll just tell them and I will even bring over food. Not that you don't have food of course you have food, no parent would leave their child without food." She always babbles it kind of cute.

"Thanks for the food." I said as she rose from the couch. She took the dish and headed for the door.

"See you soon." She smiled and closed the door. She was always happy except at school well no one really likes high school only cheerleaders, jocks and the people in the popularity circle. I hate high school its such a burden to bear.

The doorbell rung and then there was someone beating it down. Who on earth is that? I will slap him or her. I flung it open and my babies were here. A big thick man that looked like hulks brother stood in front of me I had to crane my neck up to look at him. I felt like an ant looking at him.

"Hi sweetie go call your mommy." He spoke to me as if I was a child. I crossed my arms and glared.

"She is not here. I will sign for the instruments." I took the logbook from him I wrote my signature.

"Thank you little Ms." I glare at him and his steroids filled body.

"Just bring the things in and don't damage them please." I begged as they started to remove the piano. I knew it was heavy but it was expensive, it wasn't black like regular pianos it was clear and meant the world to me. It was a gift from a now diseases musician he was like almost a hundred. I moved out of their way as they slowly put in it down. The cello came next it was lightweight. I wanted to hug the men and do a little dance but I had an image of rebel to up hold.
