I don't know if the story is good or what because no one that has been reading it is commenting or voting. Sigh kinda depressing

"Good morning." I greeted Maria.

"You look different." She examined me.

"No wig." I pointed to my head.

"Oh, but why the tam?" she asked.

"I saw it and wanted to wear it." I smiled as we walked to the bus stop.

"Did you have great weekend?" she asked.

"Yes I did went to an amazing party and got the best sleep I could have gotten in years." I explained with a smile.

"Good for you. Andre is on this weird happy mood too. I asked him for lunch money and he gave me a hundred and to push my luck I asked for a car." She smiled.

"Did he say yes?" I asked.

"No, I need that girl that has him around her fingers to tell him to buy me a car." She stated.

"Why do you assume it's because of a girl?" I asked.

"I know my brother." She stated.

"But it doesn't have to be a girl that makes him happy." I said.

"Ryan told me it was a girl. I tried to get the name but he says he doesn't know." Yes about Ryan.

"So Ryan was the guy you were talking about the other day?" I asked.

She blushed. "Yes. I know that you might not like him but I love him, he's a dimwit sometimes but I can't help loving him. Andre doesn't know and he can't know he would be pissed." She explained, it seems like everyone is keeping their relationships secrets.

The bus pulled up and we got in sitting at our regular seat in the back. We smiled and kept quiet the entire journey to school. When Andre stayed over Saturday night we slept together and I didn't have a nightmare it was just pure sleep and dreaming of Andre. I hadn't slept like that for the longest time and I thought about what he had said to me about if I feel like giving up. Mom always said that if a guy is willing to drop everything and deal with your problems he loves you. I had deep regard for him but love I didn't thinks so.

The bus stopped and we slowly piled out and Maria and I were still smiling all the way down the hall. A few persons stopped me and said that the party was off the chain. When we met up with the rest of the crew everyone seemed to be happy but Anna. Maybe she had morning sickness? I ushered to a corner and made sure that no one was eavesdropping.

"Are you all right?" I asked.

"I have the worst morning sickness and I have and ultrasound appointment today. I still haven't told Denis yet and it's too late to cancel my appointment. These hormones are driving me nuts." She cried I hugged her.

"It's okay we can cut school and go together." I hushed her, she sniffled.

"Really you would do that for me?" she sobbed.

"What are friends for if not to see you through bad things or good things?" I asked her. I looked to see if anyone was watching and then I pulled her to the exit. I waved down a taxi and looked if anyone was behind us and we were safe. I pushed her in the taxi and she told him the clinic where she was going. The man looked at us in the mirror.

"What's your problem?" I asked him.

"Oh nothing ma'am, but aren't you guys supposed to be at school?" he asked.

"Yes we are but I'm pregnant and she is following to the doctor to do an ultrasound." I lied. "Now is there a problem?" I asked.

"In my days girls who got pregnant in high school weren't allowed back." He shook his head.
